Travellers Haven in Trinidad As you enter through the innocuous doorway of Alberto and Osmary's Casa you immediately feel the hustle and bustle of Trinidads tourist streets fall away to be replaced by an oasis of trust care and quality Alberto and Osmary have worked hard for ten years to fill and extend their back yard plot with four independent... We arrived from Havana and were collected by bike taxi from the coach transfer to Trinidad by Alberto's friendly staff. We were whisked to the Guest House where we were greeted with welcome drinks and offered a choice of well presented rooms. After placing our luggage in the room of our choice we joined Alberto in the outside dining area... More

Entering the small front door of this casa is like entering the Tardis! The door opens into a beautiful shady courtyard with bar and tables and chairs. We were welcomed by Alberto, enjoyed fresh juice drink, and relaxed. The rooms were excellent, with air con and plenty of hot water. We enjoyed dinner in the courtyard and the food was... More

Our party of seven stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed the experience. It was a great contrast to the formal hotels we’d stayed in at Varadero and Havana, though not as hands-on or home-style as the family place we stayed in the Bay of Pigs/Playa Larga. The property is managed more like a small, informal hotel than a... More

One of our most enjoyable experiences in a lengthy working trip around Cuba and the only really touristed destination outside Havana. The meals were all delightful in content, service and presentation plus very good value. There was obviously more to it than we could understand like the free minibar and possible wi fi, some info in English would greatly assist... More

This Casa is in a convenient location, just a short walk into the old town and the main square which has the Iberostar Hotel. This is typically where the bus and taxi pick-ups happen. There is an internet café and bank nearby the square. The hosts are very friendly and the food is way better than what you will get... More

We were welcomed to this gorgeous homestay within walking distance of the old city of Trinidad. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and colourful with everything you would wish. Our hosts were full of helpful information about the area and what was available. They also provide a great dinner if you require. Thoroughly recommended and would not hesitate to re-visit.

Ideal for seeing Trinidad, beautifully done inside, close to a noisy street but not once you are inside. Really lovely courtyard. Very nice rooms and generally good food. We ate out in Trinidad and really regretted it, so ate in otherwise and good food for around 10-12 CUC a night. One meal was a touch boring, the other really excellent.... More

We stayed two nights with Osmary and Alberto in October 2014. Being a party of 8, we were fortunate to have all four rooms and terraces to ourselves. Osmary, Alberto and their staff are very welcoming, good cooks (the breakfast being exceptional and so much better than what five star properties in Havana provide) and very helpful. We immediately felt... More

We had a very good stay at Casa OsmaryAlberto. The back yard with its palm trees is like an oasis when you come in from the hustle and bustle on the street. Rooms are clean, comfortable and are decorated in an artistic way which gives you both the sense of Cuba and a little luxury. At 30 CUC per night,... More
