We stayed in a room one door down from the actual Casa & it was spacious, bright & clean. The hosts made us feel very welcome, and the father of the Casa owner even took us for a walk around the area when we arrived. I would recommend this place to other travelers.

We booked this casa in advance by contacting the host, Odalis, in e-mail and we didn't have the problem with overbooking as other travelers, we got into the room seen on the Tripadvisor pictures. This house has a really nice inner court with trees, birds and rocking chairs, and we enjoyed the welcoming fruit juice offered by the host. However, we... More

We travelled to Trinidad as a family of three (parents plus two and a half year old). By way of summary, this was an awesome stay. In Cuba, the use of 'casa particulares' is quite common. Essentially locals rent out rooms in their houses for between CUC25-35 per night. They must have the blue anchor sign, which is essentially a... More

Located in the centre of Trinidad; we really enjoyed staying in this casa particular run by Odalis with the help of her father Jorge, and her son. Odalis and Jorge were very helpful, and gave us many tips that helped us in our stay; El Niño is the attraction in their wonderful and cool patio where you can have your... More

Casa smith is a great place to stay. The rooms are more comfortable than some that you find in hotels in Cuba. The hosts can't do to much for you and the home cooking is fantastic. The casa is clean comfortable and welcoming in a great location.

Booked this months before we were going to Cuba. Got a confirmation right on and a second confirmation 3 weeks before we would arrive. However when we reached the B&B mrs, Odalis told us that the rooms were already taken. She had some alternatives, close by, at Ruben and Martha. When you read the other reviews, this seems to be... This was the last place we stayed on our travels in cuba and it was really really lovely, Odalis and her dad were really nice, and even attempted to chat to us even though our spanish was appalling. The food was really nice, the best place we ate whilst we were in Trinidad, especially the fish dishes and the lentil... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights at Casa Smith in June 2012. We had been recommended here from our previous Casa in Cienfuegos. Unfortunately we had a bad experience on the road as well as being hustled to accept rooms elsewhere in Trinidad. We were so grateful for the welcome, help and support from Odalis when we finally... Been to many casas particulares, this was the best ever. Warm atmosphere, clean house, great hospitality, The leanlady is so nice and friendly, cooks excellent. We suggest to have dinner in this house for only 8 CUC Ms Odalis will cook so many tastefull things and you can enjoy a great meal. The house is colonial style and very well... More
