As a family with 3 boys under 12 yrs old, we stayed 4 nights with Nilda and Luis. They were exceptional hosts. The food was fantastic, the rooms and courtyard were a dream. This casa is perfectly located near everything you need. We had a rental car with us that was parked safely on the street supervised by a local.... More

We've stayed with Nilda and Louis for 3 nights and we highly recommend this casa. It's a beautiful colonial house, very spacious and clean, in a perfect location in Trinidad. Food was incredible, both breakfasts and dinners and service and staff second to none! The hosts are very nice and welcoming as well.

Among our 2 week holiday this was the highlight. The casa is based around a tranquil courtyard that leads to a wonderfully peaceful roof terrace which our hosts Nilda and Luis encouraged us to use as we wished. Originally intending on staying for a night we enjoyed 4 nights here enjoying the food cooked by their wonderfully friendly son in... More

This beautiful colonial home filled with heritage furniture could be a museum. Location close to town centre. Within the casa, life is centred about the courtyard, an oasis of tranquility. Our room, opening onto the courtyard was actually a small suite - spacious, cool and comfortable. Meals were outstanding - the best we had at any casa in our three... More

We rather found Nilda y Luis by chance but we spent 5 fantastic days with them (longer than we had planned initially). When we first walked into the great courtyard we knew that we had to stay there. Food was fantastic but beware of the water; Trinidad is known for not having the best quality. Nilda y Luis were always... More

We stayed for four nights, and honestly could not have had better hosts. The private rooms off the courtyard are perfect and get a nice little breeze on hot nights. The art in their lounge is hilariously fabulous. Luis and Nilda are gorgeous old souls. You MUST take them up on their offer to host you for dinner. Best food... More

My friend and I stayed at this casa over several days spanning New Years's 2012. The food was fantastic and the hosts were very helpful and accommodating. My friend and I did not speak Spanish, so they brought an English-speaking friend over to help communicate with us. Nilda and Luis hosted a New Year's eve party while we were there... More

Don Luis and Nilda are exceptional hosts. The house is close to ViAzul and a short walk to the nightlife. Their son Dr. Ronaldo is an accomplished chef and cooks gourmet dinners for 10 cucs. Breakfast is amazing and a bargain at 5 cucs. The staff are pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommended!

We´ve stayed in this casa in October 2010 and I couldn´t recommend it more. It is a really charming colonial place with a nice patio. The room was good and people there where really friendly and helpful. It was extremely clean and really central (5 min walk from the Plaza Mayor). I would recommend to have breakfast and dinner there... More
