Lets start at the beginning. Flight operated by Cubana airlines. The company charters plane from Avion Express, flying little Airbus A319. It is small. Like really small. I am 6'4 and when the seat belt signs were off i was sitting side ways cause my legs just did not fit in. Keep in mind, this aircraft has only one isle... More

Stayed here with a group of 4 with two separate rooms. Stayed for 2 weeks and during our stay noticed bites on our bodies more and more each day. Noticed people on the beach were bitten too and nonstop scratching!! We know bedbugs pattern of biting and they are always in threes, either in a triangle or three bites close... More

We've been there for two nights during a tour, with a group. Potentially, the hotel is in a very good position on the beach, though the architecture is rather old -fashioned. Inside, the floors, the electricity system, the air conditioner should be renovated or changed. We, and many others, had problems with the hot water in the bathroom, for two... More

I booked this hotel from Trinidad on short notice. It was very cheap. I heard from some guest that they paid $550 all inclusive, flight included. I believe I paid 60 nights. The beach was great, beautiful and warm and great for swimming. there was no beach service as to be expected for $60 a night. The food was terrible,... More

The visitor photos tell the entire story. Breakfast was somewhat decent, but dinner was inedible. Our group leader found a Parador for us. The foam that passes for a pillow in Cuba was, well, foam. We didn't use the air conditioner because it sounded like an aircraft motor; we opened the window instead. The breeze would have been lovely -... More

We had two weeks at Cuba December - January (just returned)... We enjoyed the trip very much, but not this hotel. Most was booked in advance, but not a place to stay in Trinidad. And we ended here. Just to say it; the aircondition on the room was 110 decibel ! We checked another room, and same thing there !... More

We stayed here 2 nights during our trip to Cuba. Overall the hotel was very nice. Room was comfortable and clean. We were closer to the beach and away from the pool, bars and restuarants so noise was not an issue. The buffet food was average for Cuba and very crowded at 7 when it first opens. I would suggest... Hotel has a great location on the Ancon, but that's where the positive ends. Rooms are very dated and the buffet fare is sub-par, even for an all inclusive resort. Avery disappointing 3 days spent here!

When we first found this rated as a three star hotel, we were wary of what our experience was going to be like... Once we arrived, we saw that although the place wasn't fancy, the beaches, travel to Trinidad, free flowing drinks and service well made up for the non- modern or stylish rooms. If you simply want to unplug,... More

Stayed here 2 nights and had a positive experience. The hotel is right at the beach with very nice and calm water. Rooms are simple but quite ok with a balcony to enjoy the evening. Breakfast and dinner was also quite good. There is also a big swimming pool if you prefer that, but the sea is so nice and... More
