Friendly and obliging hosts. We ate at the family paladero (restaurant), La Botija which had a superb atmosphere with - inevitably - live music and an imaginative menu. Room clean and comfortable. Fresh tropical fruit at breakfast. Convenient location for Trinidad's sites.

Lovely hosts. Easy access to everything in the town so great location. Stayed for 3 nights in March. Accommodation was adequate as was breakfast. Plenty of cold drinks in the fridge. Unfortunately the room was not cleaned, the beds were not made or the toilet bin emptied during our stay. However Trinidad was so wonderful it didn't matter to us.

What a lovely reception we had on arrival at the Casa by Piedra and Illeana who continued to be most helpful throughout our stay, always happy and smiling no matter what time of day. It was good that it is a family home so Nan, the daughter and her children plus assorted friends would pop in during the day to... More

Conveniently situated for the old town but not too close so it's noisy. Great breakfast and helpful hosts. Air con was too noisy to leave on overnight so we didn't sleep well and shower was a bit feeble.

Having been unable to secure a hotel room in Trinidad we chose to stay at Casa Ileana. We were a little concerned that it would not be suitable to our needs but as soon as we walked through the door any doubts we had just vanished. The welcome we received was so friendly and our room although a little small... More

Nice, well-spec'd, clean and satin-y(!) room. Lovely shaded courtyard where you eat breakfast - perfectly acceptable but not the biggest and best we had. Gilberto is a mine of useful knowledge and the family are all very friendly. They don't do evening meals in the casa anymore but refer you to the son-in-law's tapas restaurant, La Botija, which is great.

Just returned from Cuba. Stayed at this wonderful place. Gilberto and Ileana were so helpful, even arranging a tricycle pick up from the hotel drop off. Lovely traditional property with outside seating and a suntrap roof. Comfortable and clean. Great breakfast too! Perfect location for exploring Trinidad. We would visit again

This Casa has three pleasant rooms, doubles and twins. The family are friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are good. The family has a restaurant in the town. Pretty well situated for seeing the old town. The family will help with outings and tours.
