The apartments are on two floors, with the living areas on top so that you get a good view towards the beach (which is one minute away). I recently stayed for 3 nights at the Onetangi Beachfront Apartments on the Strand. I wish I had stayed for longer as it was the best bit of our NZ trip. Aucklanders I think keep Waiheke Island a secret so they can enjoy it for themselves. It’s 20 mins boat ride from downtown Auckland but is even closer to paradise.... more
