Stayed in the Villa Bella Vista, managed by Waiheke Unlimited, however within the resort grounds. Self contained unit with a view over Palm Beach. A little isolated, next time would stay at Onehea for access to restaurants

Very disappointed, whilst our villa was perfectly alright we feel it is overpriced at $240. No microwave, no champagne flutes, no bottle opener, bad instant coffee. Our main concern was how we were greeted upon our arrival. Very hard to find reception, when we finally did no staff around upon finding a staff member, really was not helpful. As we... More

We stayed over the christmas period and really enjoyed our stay here. We had a few hiccups when we are arrived with the room but they were dealt with efficiently and quickly by the hotel staff who were extremely nice, relaxed but efficient. The room we stayed in had been totally renovated and was fantastic for the family, the view... More

We were 2 of us and we have stayed here for 2 nights, I think it was very good and we had no problems at all, but the only thing I found a bit disappointing was the view, I was told that all rooms have sea view but the view I expected was way too much I guess. And u... More

Booked a last minute and stayed in a studio apartment. Nice view out to sea but that was the only positive. We came back to the hotel at 8pm hoping to get a drink at the bar but the entire place was closed. As in locked up, no lights on. Nothing seemed to be open; no bar, no restaurant. Too... More

We stayed in room 32, which overlooks Palm Beach. It was a lovely view but we could hear feet stomping and shuffling from the residents in the room upstairs. The bed and sofa were very comfortable. Air-conditioning works well and we used the oven to reheat our pizza. However, the bathroom had a weird stench when we turned on the... More

Stayed in 1 bedroom with kitchenette. Room fine especially lovely king sized bed however shower had terrible smell and there was so little water pressure you could hardly wash yourself under the drip. Facilities were a bit dated

My wife, 3 children and I all stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. With the kitchenette and 2 toilets there was plenty of space. We had a fold out soda for our 13 year old. Great views from the balcony. The central restaurant & bar appeared recently refurbished. We recommend you hire a car to explore the sites as bus... More

The views from the Waiheke Island Resort are sublime. We had a fabulous weekend at the resort celebrating a milestone birthday. The weekend was fantastic, and all made possible by the amazingly friendly staff; and the new chef exceeded all expectations with five star three course meals prepared for 50 guests on both Friday and Saturday evenings. Certainly a place... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a corporate retreat. It was pleasant enough but the rooms are a little tired - clean and tidy, just a bit ragged around the edges. Also if you don't like steps, don't stay here, the units are all on different levels spread down the hill, makes for great views though.... More
