Great relaxing, peaceful spot with the town (Oneroa) only a 15 minute walk away . . . Although it can take a lot longer as one does tend to stop on all the seats and admire the view. We were totally looked after - picked up from the ferry, tour of the property, fresh bread and olive oil, bottle of... More

We were in need of a few days of peace, quiet and pampering and Owhanake Bay Estate certainly delivered. Mike was extremely hospitable without being obtrusive. The fridge was well stocked and the morning pastries were a real treat. A lovely tranquil setting close to walks and Oneroa village. Mike took care of everything from arranging massages to booking restaurants... More

We were picked up from the ferry in a lovely Mercedes and dropped into the local village for a lovely lunch. We were then picked up again and taken to Estate where we had a really interesting tour of the grounds and Vineyard. Then up to our room for some delicious fresh bread and the estates divine olive oil to... More

This is a must stay when visiting Waiheki Island. Mike and Christy are the most wonderful and accommodating hosts that truly make you feel very special. From picking us up at the ferry to driving us to the restaurants, nothing was ever too much. The room was very comfortable and had an excellent king bed. The fridge was stocked with... More

Relaxed and rejuvenated is how we felt on leaving Owhanake Bay Estate. Beautifully situated overlooking the nearby' cove within an easy amble into town. Mike our host was very congenial and accommodating driving us to our various gourmet indulgences which is one of the main reasons we visit Waiheke, frequently. A truly lovely spot!

We found Owhanake Bay Estate to be everything we were after. Mike and Christy are the perfect hosts, they are thoughtful, relaxed, genuinely caring and accommodating. The venue itself is serene. It's peaceful, well set up and the location is close enough to town that a 10-15 min walk gets you there. The room was well appointed there was a... More

I wanted to take my bestie away to celebrate her entry into the bicentury time of her life (Im already there). We wanted to stay somewhere special and have dinner to celebrate. We chose the Retreat Package as this suited all our needs. Mike was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble for him. Any requests we had... More

We had two wonderful days in the Manuka suite and left totally relaxed and at peace. We enjoyed the hospitality of the hosts, the vineyard and the wine, the bay location, the accommodation, the spa pool on the deck, not to mention everything else Waiheke has to offer including fabulous wine, food and scenery. Thank you !

Stayed here for 2 nights in March in the Tamure Suite Our impression is a little mixed. Pro.: Very nice deck with chairs and table and fantastic view over the bay. Very comfortable bed. Quiet location but only 1/2 hour walk to center of Oneroa. Nice freshly baked bread in the morning. Con.: Juice, spread, jam etc. in the fridge... More

We are very pleased that you liked our tranquil location yet close proximity to Oneroa Village, the beautiful view over the bay from your deck, the comfortable beds and the fresh pastries in the morning. We do try hard to please all our guests. We had a rare misunderstanding which meant your room was not serviced in the daytime, which... More
