My partner brought me here for my birthday in 2006 and it was the worst night ever!!We were put in a disgustingly shabby room (labelled executive room on website).WHAT A JOKE.I complained and asked to speak to the manager who was really rude and unhelpful. He offered us 2 free continental breakfasts the next morning.I was obviously so angry all I... more

Stayed one night in Feb - room was clean and fairly roomy but definitely in need of updating! Probably best to decribe it as "looking a bit tired". As we were only there for one night it was OK but I'm glad we weren't there for longer as it would have been a bit of let down. Staff quite helpful,... more

I am an Accor Advantage plus member and can honestly say I have never seen a more disgraceful hotel as this. Come on Accor get up and have a look at what you have allowed your members to stay in. "Not Good enough", our room was so shabby we actually wanted to just leave and not return. The carpet was... more

Can't believe the age and general shabiness of the rooms, apart from the mismatched decor, the shower has a scruffy little curtain which doesn't stop any water from the tap which blasts out enough water to fill an olympic size pool in a hurry, so it overflows and the resultant flooding of the whole bathroom floor is impossible to mop... more

We stayed at this hotel last night. We stay at Accor whenever we can as we have an Accor Advantage plus card. This is the only Accor hotel we have found that was not up to expectations. The car park looked scruffy before we had entered the hotel. Carpets were worn and hotel generally looked very tired. There is no... more

The Accor brand might lead you to expect certain standards, which you only have a fifty per cent chancee of meeting at the Yacht Club. Half the hotel has been done up in a pleasant yacht style way and the other half was pretty old and scuzzy (old bathrooms, worn carpet, old fashioned decorations) when we visited last week. It... more

After parking in the designated parking area we took our car in and out 2 or 3 times. When we went for a walk we noted that there was a rusty nail in the carpark. On closer examination there were hundreds of rusty nails in the carpark. We took a handful to the duty manager but nothing was done and... more

I was very pleasantly surprise by this hotel although in some ways it is something of a contradiction. It has been acquired by Novotel and will undergo a name change when the hotel has been brought up to Novotel standards. In other words thre is only one way this hotel is going standards wise and that is up. I had... more

Picton is a lovely town, not many hotels. The Yacht Club is a Motel type hotel with a dining room to match. The shower in our bathroom was too powerful for the plastic curtain surrounding the enclosure and water poured over the floor around the toilet pan every time we used it. the hotel was aware of the problem and... more

Wir hatten das 4-Sterne-Hotel ausgesucht, weil es ganz in der Nähe des Fährhafens liegt. Doch das Preis-Leistungs-Niveau stimmt nicht. Das... more
