The rooms are clean but tired. Dellis is the energy in the lodge and very helpful with the local sites etc. The breakfast was fresh and kitchen very clean but basic. The bathroom was very narrow and small. The room 3 was depressing, the place has potential as in in a good location it needs updating and thing like switches... More

The Lodge is big. My enormous room contained a huge bed and had a very large en suite bathroom. Everything was impeccably clean and tidy. The communal areas, were also very large, with extremely comfortable sofas. There is free WiFi. The staff at reception were exceptionally charming. Picton is an expensive place, so this Lodge might look a bit overpriced... More

Great place to stay with a very friendly host Dellis that ensure that all our needs were meet. Beautiful rooms that were clean and well presented. We were encourage to use the facilities of the lounge. Within walking distance of the town and other facilities. We left to catch the early ferry crossing so next time I will ask where... More

Great place. Great welcome, clean tidy rooms. Great value for money. Two mins from picton town centre. Demiss is a very welcoming friendly lady. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Don't let the average street scape of Admirals Lodge fool you. Inside it is fresh and clean with a very welcoming vibe. We have stayed here twice once in the Queen room and once in the King room. Both rooms are excellently presented very clean and inviting. Beds were comforable, bathrooms are a little dated but absolutely fine. Dellis is... More

A cheerful, friendly welcome and a very nice room. We only stayed one night but it was enjoyable and self serve breakfast was welcome. It is very handy to shops, restaurants and the waterfront. The ferry to Wellington is only five minutes away and the Marlborough wineries are only a short drive.

A Nice Average Place with a fun interesting maritime theme. We stayed thee nights and enjoyed. Boring looking from the outside but fair value and centrally located. Near to a nice Indian restaurant. It felt a bit royal and a bit cheesy or dated.

Fantastic experience, warm, lovely four post bed, we were welcomed and looked after to a superior degree. Felt at home, I will be glad to stay here again!! Maude and Brent Stephens. We arrived in the rain and cold, to walk into a warm, fire lit hallway was marvy. We received immediate attention to our needs. The Lady looking after... More
