This is our second time staying here. Great decor. Great views. Comfortable bed. Nice balcony to chill out on. Very close to all amenities. Will stay here again. Restaurant provides a good seafood selection.

Positives - great view, very clean, full sky, free wifi (decent amount), did give us a 11am check out. Negatives - hard, uncomfortable queen bed which really hurt our backs, poky living/sleeping space with stingey tea/coffee provisions. Microwave would've been useful. At the price feel other places in Picton more competitive

We have not received complaints in the past regarding our beds-in fact we have had very good feedback about the comfort of the beds. However,in these matters we are always happy to look at what may be causing the problem if we are approached. All our rooms are 28 by 29 square metres, which is larger than an average Hotel room.We have... I stayed here 04/04/2015, at the counter I was greeted by Carol. She was extremely helpful and polite. The room was clean, modern, tidy and the view is incredible. But it was the welcoming polite attitude of Carol that will see us return to the Beachcomber the next time we are in Picton.

We didn't really know what to expect from this hotel, but were happy with our room as soon as we saw it. There was a little balcony, overlooking the harbour and we really enjoyed the view. The room was comfortable, quite big and had everything we needed. Bathroom was a bit small. I have a bad back and so hotel... More

The Beachcomber is only a block from the main street of Picton, with a lovely view of the harbour. Rooms are smart, recently renovated, spacious and comfortable. There's a nice grassy lawn out front, looking over the water. Great value for money.

This hotel is lovely. The rooms are large and well appointed with a very nice bathroom and good shower. The bed was king size and very comfortable. We had a balcony room so had a great view over the harbour from our balcony, so could watch the ferries, cruise ships and other boats come and go. The hotel also has... More

Everything in Picton (Population less than 3,000) is nearby. Accommodation Lovely spacious room included full self-catering facilities. Sliding door gave access to porch with table and... More

We stayed here only one night, and got a room with a full view of the harbor (not one from which you could only see the harbor if you were standing on the balcony). The kitchen and bath were on the street side of the room, so you were protected from the noise. It was super convenient, and very clean... More

We had a late arrival (after 11pm) and an early departure (7:30am) so didn't spend much time awake in the room. The staff were helpful while booking, and again on subsequent phone contact - the key was left as described for us to find, and our continental breakfast and packed lunch for the next day's walk were both left in... This was a lovely place to stay. My only gripe was the bed. It felt like a children's bouncy castle. Also it was a warm night and the bed covers made us too hot but the good news was there was a blanket in the cupboard which provided just the right amount of warmth. The bad news was it was... More
