A great place to stay. ..wish I could stay longer. Jacuzzi lovely. Facilities are all you could wish for with a swimming pool and laundry. Views over the harbour are lovely with a balcony to relax on.

We chose to stay in Picton so that we're close for our early morning ferry crossing. This hotel was well located a short stroll from the town centre and had views over the harbour. We stayed in the large and well appointed family unit (the spare bed in the lounge is a fold down one hidden in what looks like... More

We just walked in to find a night's accommodation as tried to book on Booking.com and iPad froze and couldn't complete booking. Interestingly enough, the superior room with sea views was $40 cheaper by walking in as opposed to booking online! Lovely sea view over boats. Recently renovated room, good size and comfortable bed and pillows. Nice balcony with chairs... More

Nice motel, Centrally located, short walk to town-wouldn't want to walk from ferry terminal with luggage but close enough to cafes, restaurants, hire car pick ups. Nice harbour views from balcony. recently refurbished rooms?! They were clean, tidy, and spacious and quiet. Great shower!! Only complaint would be the pillows, but that's proving to be the major complaint of our... More

We stayed here before heading off on the Queen Charlotte Track. It was very comfortable, easy to find and a short walk to /from the Ferry. Good for our family as there was a pool, garden, trampoline, balcony.

Top quality hotel room. We stayed in studio room on the ground level which opened up to a lovely grassed area and was a few steps to the swimming pool and kids trampoline. The views are amazing over looking PIcton Harbour. We only wished we had spent more nights here but had to travel through to Nelson. Definitely recommend to... More

For me, the big appeal of the Beachcomber was the fantastic view it has of Picton Harbour and the Sounds. A big plus is that each room has a view and a balcony from which to enjoy it! Rooms 301, 201 and 101 would have the best unobstructed views. The rooms themselves are very comfortable, tastefully refurbished in 2013. The... More

This hotel is central, within minutes walk of town, museums and the marina. All rooms have good views and our was well equipped, clean and modern. A very good place to stay with plenty of parking. On our visit the lift was out of action and of course we were on the top floor. I'll review the in house restaurant... More

Just like all everyone says you don't go to Picton for the food!!! We waited 40 mins for our entrée and an hour for our overpriced main which was so small. Chicken was dry and tiny in size for $27. Wait staff told us that there was only 1 chef on as the other had the night off!!!! Friday night... More

Close to the harbor. Is a motel with well a well equiped pleasant and modern room. The shower was a corner unit with the two doors that did not close too well so the shower sprayed onto the bathroom floor. Decent wifi for $5. Ate in the restaurant which was a mistake. Appetiser was mussels covered with unncessary cheese and... More
