The room we stayed in was like a cabin with 4 bunks. There was only one bathroom with and one other shower that was outside across the yard. They did have a nice yard where you sit and have coffee and relax. The cabin had a heavy sliding patio door with curtain for not so much privacy which you always... More

Great hostel. I arrived pretty late and they welcomed me with delicious apple crumble. It’s by far the cutest hostel I have stayed in. It gives you the feel of a traditional B&B with comfy chairs and a hammock on the veranda. It was also nice to have free wifi for a change. Would love to stay there again. Great... More

Very cute little backpackers. Two well stocked kitchens, a good size so never got too busy. There is also pool table, spa and TV rooms. Lovely courtyard area, decorated really well. Enjoyed our stay very much!

From the time we were met at the ferry till 2 days later when we were dropped off at the train, we found the staff very helpful. We had an upastairs en suite room with our own TV and felt the rates were very competitive. The kitchen is lovely and there is a great spa pool and outdoors back yard... More

I stayed for one night in a private room with a friend. The hostel is adorable and very charismatic, although it's spread out into several buildings. Our room shared a balcony with two other rooms that overlooked the small courtyard, which had ample seating and a nice mix of sun and shade. The wifi worked well both in the room... More

I had a great time at the The Villa!! The staff was very friendly, specially Mark and Fede, they were very nice and helpful and gave us very good ideas for going around. It's a charming old building with a lovely garden, a tree house and many different places to stay and relax. It's the kind of places that you... More

We booked to stay in a 4 bed dorm but we were the only 2 in there which was quite nice! The overall first impression of the Villa was great, homely, bright and welcoming. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The showers/toilets were also clean. The garden has so many different areas to sit in - the... More

I've been to The Villa a couple of times and will be returning again after doing the Queen Charlotte Track. It's a lovely old building and the facilities are good. Rooms are clean and comfortable, free wifi is nice to have. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The Villa is really close to the ferry terminals and supermarket, although Picton is a quite small town where everything is nearby. They offer their guests a wonderful garden and veranda to hang out, clean facilities and a nice kitchen. Mark from the reception really seems to love his job, he makes you feel very welcome - thank you for... More
