This great park offers everything you would need for a stopover before/after your ferry trip. Its simple and small but VERY clean, close to ferry too. No BBQ area though. The showers were excellent, one of the very few in our whole trip where your clothes/bag didn't get wet while showering! Our teenagers loved the 20 mins of internet for... More

We stayed in a chalet-on arrival it was being aired so fresh air to welcome us.The place is absolutely spotless. Its the little things like the wonderful selection of board games in excellent condition, the free tea and coffee, the music playing in the communal bathrooms, the hair dryer, everything was spotless. For $65 with bedding I can't recommend this... More

We stayed for one night mid March prior to ferry crossing while on a 21day Motorhome tour of South and North islands. Small site very clean with all facilities and very friendly staff. Close to Picton centre with good selection of shops and restaurants. Very close to Interislander and Bluebridge ferry terminals. Well worth a stop would highly recommend.

This is only a small family run business but it shows in the cleanliness and excellent facilities. There are just 4 standard cabins, one of which we used. They were well laid out, comfortable and clean. The main street and water front is a 1.5 km walk from the camp. Prices are great value.

A friendly welcome, chat and tour. I had booked over booking.com a cabin. Cabin very modern, clean and warm with heater, double bed, table, sofa and tv. Bathroom facilities spotless and shower had plenty of hot water. Kitchen extremely clean and tidy with microwave etc and information on local activities. The campervan parking looked well maintained and an easy parking... More

Stayed here while getting the ferry from Picton to Wellington for one night. Great location- a small walk down town. Really good facilities, all very modern and new! We ran into problems with our campervan and the couple who owned this park couldn't have been more helpful! People like them make things so much easier for backpackers! Really good people!... More

Myself and my girlfriend stayed at the Picton Campervan park for 1 night recently when visiting Picton. It turned out to be the same if not cheaper than pretty much all the local hostels offering double rooms and you probably got more for your money. The chalet was $70 although we did see a sign outside saying $65 so not... More

It seems all the accomodation in Picton is pricey so I guess this place wasn't too badly priced. However, it was overpriced compared to many other places we stayed in NZ. The bed was a mattress on a frame instead of an ensemble - it seemed uncomfortable. I barely used the bathroom because we got in late and left early... More

One of the Kiwi campsite group, which I feel was the best we stayed in throughout our tour of the south island. Nice compact friendly site with excellent clean and well equipped facilities. We stayed in one of the cabins which was new and well constructed. Cabins could have done with a bit more private outside area space and not... More

Small and clean and a good location if leaving on the ferry but I wouldn't stay any longer than one night. The van spaces are not very private and there are only a few showers. Thankfully we were leaving on the 6:30 ferry so the bathrooms were empty at 5am but I'd imagine the next ferry there could be queues.... More
