Stayed here for one night prior to walking the Queen Charlotte Track. Greg was the perfect host and was there to help. The house is a 1890 vintage cottage beautifully restored and furnished with impeccable taste and eye for detail. It is also a short walk to the centre of Picton to restaurants and bars. Our room was spacious as... More

Very clean place. Nice rooms with very nice bathroom. It had a lovely garden and it was quiet enough. Close to the harbour, so very good if you are planning in taking the ferry to the queen Charlotte track. We would recommend. P.s the coffee was nice but coming from England we thought the breakfast, although nice, was a bit... More

We booked the "Loft" room both before and after our two days on Queen Charlotte Track. Not only did Greg and Carlie let us keep our luggage and car at the property, Greg drove us to the water-taxi dock and they kept our refrigerator/freezer items in the house. The room was immaculate and very cozy, without being "frou frou" as... More

This small B&B is well situated for the ferry to Wellington and the water taxis that take you to the Queen Charlotte Track. It would be an 11 minute walk to the Cougar water taxi. The owners were extremely helpful. They allowed us to leave our rental car with them while we hiked the track. They also gave us a... More

When we arrived Greg offered a glass of slightly chilled Sauvignon Blanc, the room was nicely designed, very clean and with good bed comfort. A number of details made the stay convenient, e.g. Arrangement to dry our clothes. The breakfast was the best. Greek style youghurt, fresh berries and fruit and mussli. None of this lowfat sugarbombs fruity youghurt, which... More

We loved this Bed and Breakfast. Our hosts, Greg and Carly, were absolutely delightful people. The house was so charming and well appointed. The breakfast was so delicious. Greg gave us some nice information about what to see in a short time in the area. We enjoyed a nice tour of the wine growing region of Marlborough because of his... More

We stayed here for 3 night in total - one night prior to doing our Queen Charlotte Track trip and two night afterwards. It is very quiet, clean, comfortable and well-appointed and just a short walk to the centre of town. The common lounge room has a piano and guitar for those who miss their musical instruments whilst they are... More

We booked an unguided Queen Charlotte Track walk with Greg's company and decided it made sense not only to stay at Fernview the night before, but also for several nights upon returning. One of the better decisions in our month long NZ trip. We stayed in the loft and loved it, small and cozy and real sense of privacy. Its... More

Greg and Carly provided a very welcoming start to our 4 day walk in the Marlborough Sounds. A charming and comfortable home, a complimentary glass of wine while explaining the itinerary of the walk and delicious breakfast and packed lunch ensured that we felt very much at home. Thanks Greg and Carly ...it was great to meet you !

Our group of 4 stayed here after completing the Queen Charlotte Track walk in early October. Greg met us at the water taxi after the walk to take us back to what immediately felt like home! Beautiful B&B - very comfortable and wonderful friendly hosts that made us feel so welcome. Greg talk us back to the Ferry the next... More
