There are a number of backpacker hostels in Picton and this one is not the closest one to the ferry, but it is less than a mile away and if you've got a heavy pack or big suitcase, they are happy to pick you up at the ferry. The place is spotlessly clean (even the kitchen, which is somewhat difficult... More

The owners are incredibly helpful and nice, the place is clean and well-furnished, and the breakfast - with fresh home made scones, coffee, tea, and cereal - is to die for. Quality. Even better - I came by again a few days later, at the end of a bike tour, after i was dunked by several hours of cold rain.... More

Located three minutes drive from the Ferry, this hostel is the best we've stayed in. Gary and Nikki are extremely friendly and are very helpful with things you could do in the area. They are so nice! We stayed at the studio apartment which was clean, and highly equipped. There are free bikes, great free WIFI, a nice jaccuzi, and... More

This hostel is run by an extremely nice couple. They make you feel like at home and do everything they can to make your stay pleasant, be it giving you a ride to locations or lending you one of their bikes. The hostel is very clean and offers everything one could ask for: large kitchen with free breakfast and daily... More

This hostel is perfect for all ages! You have got a lot you can do: tabletennis, darts, pool... There's a jacuzzi so it's nice to relax in there after a day of hiking or mountainbiking (free hire from the hostel)! The owners Gerry and nikki will do everything to make your stay more comfortable so well done and keep up... More

After one year travelling around and moving form hostel to hostel I can garantee you that this one is the perfect place. Well ok, the town of Picton is really (I mean really really) quiet where there is nothing to do but the hostel itself is amazing ! Free breakfast (good one!), wifi unlimited, piano, guitars, flute!, computer, pool, darts,... More

This is a great place to stay, it's across the road from Picton's cemetery. The owners Dean & Nikki are amazing people, super helpful and welcoming. They have a spa pool, table tennis and pool tables, free wifi, etc. If you get the chance you can stay at a caravan, it's much fun, cute and cheap. Also, you know it's... More

We stayed in a private double room with which was lovely and clean, more like a hotel room than a hostel. The shared kitchen was the cleanest we've come across with enough cooking facilities to cook anything you want. The owners were very friendly and the fresh baked cheese scones provided at breakfast were delicious!

A lovely laid back hostel, run by the very enthusiastic Gary who was very helpful. We had a double room, with a great shower, comfy bed and lovely views. Good location too, short walk from the town centre and next to ferry terminals.

Brilliant hostel, definitely recommend to anyone going through Picton. Rooms were recently refurbd, bathrooms were there own room rather than a block, shower had loads of pressure. Awesome free breakfast, hot-tub, free milk all the time, hosts were brilliant. Thanks.
