Our stay with Sharon and Russell at Echo lodge was excellent. They were so welcoming hosts. Their Character home was spotless with comfortable bed with en-suite. It was in walking distant to the shops and ferry. Unfortunate we had only one night with them, but we will be back to stay .

a lovely B&B with great hosts, nothing is too much trouble, very comfortable room and bed, fantastic breakfast, even fresh walnuts off their tree that Russell had cracked. Very easy walking distance to everything, totally recommend.

This is a really nice place to stay in Picton. The hosts, Sharon and Russell, go out of their way to make sure that everything is right for you. They obviously enjoy what they do and are great hosts. Very clean, comfortable and spotless throughout, very comfortable beds and couches, yummy breakfast including, when we were there, freshly shelled walnuts... More

This is a wonderful B & B that you could walk to town from. Sharon is a lovely host and her B & B is immaculate and has high quality furnishings. Lovely sitting room and outside area to sit. She enjoys being a B & B owner and you can tell - very engaging and very nice to talk to.... More

Our group of 5 stayed at Echo Lodge for 2 nights. The hosts, Sharon and Russell made us feel like family. Restaurants and attractions are within easy walking distance. Rooms are large and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. S and S Baker

Our stay at Echo Lodge was excellent. Sharon's hospitality and attention to detail was very much appreciated. This is a beautifully restored home. Our very early breakfast was completely laid out for us. One has to appreciate all the hard work that goes into a bed and breakfast of this caliber. Thanks Sharon, for all the conversation. We feel that... More

My wife and I stayed two nights in February at Echo Lodge owned by Russell and Sharon. Russell collected us from the ferry and took us the short drive to Echo Lodge where we settled in after being made very welcome by Sharon. To go to restaurants later, it is only a very short walk, less than one kilometre to... More

We spent our last night on the South Island here before catching the ferry to Wellington. The house has been beautifully restored and oozes character. Our room was large, clean and comfortable, the sash window looked out onto the decked front area where we enjoyed a nice cup of tea with one of Sharon's home made cakes. Loved all the... More

Had a wonderful stay with Sharon and Russell, from the pick up at the station to the lift to our boat in the morning. Beautifully renovated B&B. PS Thanks also for the plums which we enjoyed on our hike.
