We took advantage of the special winter walk in rate after driving into Picton with nothing booked on our road trip. We took the downstairs room & really enjoyed the accommodation and dining experience. The room is beautifully furnished and the boutique name is appropriate. The bathroom was special with a nice big bath and heated floor. We were taken... More

This B&B is beautiful, my partner took me here for a night away, he booked us into the Sea Room only to arrive and then we got upgraded to the Formal Room, the décor is tastefully done, with a giant bath in the bathroom, if you want to spoil your other half then this is the place to go!! Juliana... More

We stayed in the suite, which was stunning, immaculate décor and attention to detail. The staff are all friendly and professional, we were treated to a glass of fizz on arrival, and when we returned to the room after dinner our bed had been turned down and the room tidied. If you looking for location, style and service, look no... More

The hotel is in an amazing location and this is complimented by the high quality of the rooms, and the helpful staff. Spent two nights in the beautiful Escape to Picton. The food an atmosphere are top class and highly recommended. I would definitely stay there again.

Although our "formal" bedroom was spacious & very tastefully decorated, it reminded us of an old fashioned seaside boarding house - not a boutique hotel! it did not have double glazing which meant that traffic noise and people walking on street below could easily be heard. Apparently we were lucky that the Irish Bar beside it was quiet when we... More

Travelling around NZ, we drove to Picton on the off chance and found this hotel near the sea front. Although not the cheapest when compared to the local motels, the small additional cost was, nonetheless, very good value for money. The owners and staff were all very friendly and efficient; the room was comfortable and clean; and it was convenient... More

We stayed for 2 nights while touring around Blenheim and Abel Tasman. We also had dinner downstairs the first night. Julianne is very nice and hospitable. The food is fantastic and I am still dreaming about the homemade berry-cream brioche (muffin?) and croissants for breakfast. The room was beautiful and very comfortable and quiet and my husband loved the huge... More
