We arrived in Picton to find our evening ferry sailing canceled, so we urgently needed to find a place to stay for 3 people and a dog at very short notice. Thank goodness for this place! The couple who run it are very friendly and helpful, we made the booking over the phone and arrived a few minutes later. There... More

We stayed here for a family wedding. The owners were fantastic, shuttling us down to the venue, information about places to eat (including discounts for mentioning their hotel) - very friendly and welcoming couple. They had clearly made a huge effort to vamp up the place. They said it was still a work in progress with the renovations but the... More

We stayed here for the weekend with a large group and the hosts were more than accomodating, friendly and helpful. Our rooms were nice and we will definitely be back. Good communication before, during and after the stay. Great location. Thank you!

This motel is an older motel but more than an adequate , very reasonable rates , in the middle of town, with fantastic hosts. Welcomed us and our Bichon with open arms .Good experience to end our trip around the South Island.

Stayed here for two nights and found it to be expensive and not worth what we paid for. It cost $386 for 3 adults. The bathroom and kitchen need replacing completely, very old. Our room as the couple had the double bed but it was was pushed against a wall as they squeezed in single bed as well. This made... More

Only ten minutes' walk from the ferry/bus/train terminal, right amongst the shops and restaurants. Supermarket is almost next door. Despite the central location we heard no traffic noise. The owners are currently renovating the units, so ours had stylish kitchen, bedrooms and sitting room but the bathroom was yet to be updated (but everything worked fine and the shower was... More

our group of 4 stayed 2 nights at this motel. We found the hosts to be delightful and very accommodating, The motel we stayed in slept 5 people and was very clean and tidy. It was great value for the money. Three rooms had been tastefully renovated and the bathroom and kitchen was to be work in progress. .The location... More

Soooooo expensive for what it was! For less money we could have stayed across the road at a nicer motel with more to offer! Our kitchen was dirty and mold in the fridge.... Bathroom was average and the towels were dirty, gross! We also had to walk down this small dark alley way to get to room which was past... More

The welcome was great, owners and staff great, but for $120.00 per night, not value for money. very noisy, due to proximity to the High Street I was woken periodically during the night, with deliveries and council workers cleaning streets, the shower had a note to turn on the wash basin Hot Tap before turning on the hot water in...
