I stayed at the Broadway Motel in Picton for two nights in early December. My goal was to ride the Queen Charlotte Track, which happily was accomplished. i booked ahead the same day on the property web site and the reservation was there when i arrived. The motel is very easy to find as you enter Picton. It is located... more

We stayed at the Broadway Motel in Picton for one night and enjoyed it thoroughly. Lovely one bedroom apartment with a very large bathroom. Facilities are top class. The kitchenette was tiny, but it was expected. The apartment had a balcony that looked across the hills surrounding Picton. Picton is a lovely spot and this motel is a very short... more

Stayed here for 1 night in March - good, clean and quiet accommodation. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed including a small kitchen area with microwave, kettle and toaster. Good location for the inter island ferry – approx 700m walk. Picton is ok for a one night stay. Would choose to stay here again. more

Great motel, clean and nicely set out, very roomy and modern. Yes the trains are close but they didn't really worry us. The sticking point however was the male manager (owner?) who was very rude and most unhelpful - providing assistance was far too much trouble for him which he made very plain. By the way, if you accidentally break... more

Thank you for your feedback, it’s very nice to hear that you thought Broadway Motel was “Great” even though the service did not come up to your expectations. We pride ourselves on the service we provide for our guests and clearly in this case it has not come up to our normal standard. The mornings are very busy in a...

We booked our stay here based on the reviews we saw here on TripAdvisor, as well as the great price online. Walking there from the train was quite easy, and the Motel is also very accessible to all the cafes, restaurants and activities in town. The owners were quite friendly, and check-in was fast. Our room was even ready an... more

dsquarednz - thank you for your feedback, both good and bad - if we didn't get to hear about the things that are not right then we wouldn't be able to fix the problems. Firstly, the pillows in question have been replaced. Secondly we need to clarify a couple of points that you made - normally there are only a...

The accomodation at the Broadway Motel is absolutely lovely. We walked into the "honeymoon suite" and couldn't believe the size of the room for the very reasonable price. It was definately the cleanest motel that we have ever stayed at. The high standard that the owners have for the presentation of the rooms is apparent as soon as you walk... more

A refurbished motel located within walking distance from both Picton's railway station and the inter-island ferry terminal, the Broadway is a typical NZ motel with good sized rooms. I had a good sleep here, and no complaints. Satisfactory in all respects. more

We normally stay at B&B but decided that we were due for a motel stay. Good decision. For $129 we stayed in a very clean and new room at the Broadway motel. It is just a stones throw from the ferry. The rooms are very spacious with a living area and separate bedroom. The also have a BBQ for use.... more
