We stayed here in late January at the beginning of our trip. We found the accommodation to be of a good standard, very comfortable and well equipped. The manager was very helpful and the staff when we saw them polite. The location is very good and peaceful. We would certainly stay here again if we return.

Very expensive lodging. For the price we paid they should at least offer free wifi! Had to walk across street to library to access wifi. Clean bedrooms w/kitchen apt. Bedrooms need updating. Cranky receptionist---not welcoming at all. Good location to wharf and restaurants. Definitely not worth the money.

Its also pricey, in comparison to many other options, but all in all was still a very nice and quaint accommodation that was close to waterfront dining and shopping at the upper end of town. My suite had a separate bedroom and living area, with a queen as well as a twin bed, that could sleep 3, and while it... More

This was our last stop in a 3 week trip of New Zealand. It was similar to all our other accommodation but this one was quite a lot more expensive and not more luxurious than other "standard" rooms. The manageress was not very helpful but the manager was quite pleasant. I loved the outside of the motel. Very pretty flowers-looked... More

Our daily room servicing was being asked if we wanted fresh towels. Came back from a day out to full garbage bin and unmade bed. Free wifi was standing outside the library across the road. I think its time for the owners to think about doing something else - everything was too much trouble for them. Laundry was twice the... More

We have stayed in some "luxury" accommodation before but this is not one of them, stark, austere, barren are words that spring to mind. Nice enough, in a good location but advertise as "luxury" which it clearly is not. One bath towel, no artwork, no curtains ( does have blinds) no free wifi, charge for absolutely everything, 7 tv channels... More

We have recently spent two nights in supposedly the 'Honeymoon Suite'???? Very disappointed no atmosphere in the room very dark, NO outlook...except looking at rubbish bins. Very close to room next door, so NO peace. This was a 60th birthday present from my husband and I have never been sooooo let down with a motel room like this before and... More

We stayed for one night - the room was fine but by 1am guests next door woke many guests up with a massive argument that kept us awake until 4am. We tried to call reception but no one answered. The next morning the response to our complaints were a shrug of the shoulders and that the owners never heard a... More

We arrived in Akaroa somewhat unplanned, and stayed one night at Tresori. We had a good experience, though limited, with the staff. Our room was upstairs with a huge spa bath, so the upgraded room. There was room to dance in the bathtub during your shower. The motel is just one block back from the pier, with a selection of... More

Tresori was ideally situated and room was nice, apart from the outlook which was our car! This was the only place we stayed which did not have free wi-fi. On the day we left we asked if we could leave our car there while we went out, which we did. On our return the reception lady was cleaning our room.... More
