What an amazing place to stay, you feel welcome and at home the moment you step through the doors, we were so excited from the moment we booked our room and we were not disappointed, everything was provided for us to ensure we felt relaxed and comfortable, although it started snowing it was still one of the best experiences I... The excitement started from when we booked as the reviews just seemed so unbelievable. We arrived late on Friday with howling winds & driving rain. The verandah room had several sets of candles going, the open fire was blazing & the outdoor bath was boiling away. We had a great wee outdoor area for the fridge, pantry & cooking. And... More

What a beautiful, relaxing, romantic and quiet place to stay. Think outdoor bath under a clear night's sky, crisp white sheets on a cloud-like bed, golden sunset across the valley and the sound of birds in the lush native bush. A wonderful place to stay if you're looking for somewhere to get away from it all. The owner, Lynnie, is... More

This is the most unusual place I've ever stayed at. Linnie greeted us and showed us around this amazing retreat. She's an attentive and helpful host. Although I wasn't keen on the possum bed cover, the bed was comfy and very cosy. When we returned from our meal , Linnie had put a fire on for us in our cabin.... More

We stayed in the Bedouin Hut for a romantic couple of nights. All we could hear was the stream gurgling, the beautiful native birds. A unique and seriously blissful experience. The intimate hut decked out in flowers and plenty of candles, with possum blanket and potbelly stove is like a gypsy caravan. This will be one of my most precious... More

Wonderful tranquil night away staying in the tree house. Lots of lovely touches and Lynne was an amazing hostess, very attentive to our needs but giving you space at the same time. Perfect retreat for couples wanting a special memory ...will definitely return.

For those who want to have a unique and unforgettable experience, the tree crop farm is the right choice. We stayed at the treehouse and enjoyed its individual setting and the privacy. Sitting in a fire heated bathtub and watching the nightsky over akaroa was a truly amazing experience! Owner Lynne gave us a hearty welcome as well as a... More

We had such an amazing weekend at the lost weekend hut. Peaceful and quiet, was a location and Lynnie was such a lovely host. The highlights were definitely the outdoor bath and the cosy new sauna in the hut. We will definitely be back again soon

My partner and I had a fantastic 2 day stay in the lost weekend hut. We had a fantastic time in the tranquil setting of Tree Crop Farm. The sauna in the hut is a lovely addition to the hut and the bath under the stars is just idyllic. Lynnie is an excellent host!

Spent a wonderfully relaxing two nights at the beautiful Tree Crop Farm courtesy of the equally lovely Lynnie & her cuddly kitty. If you're looking for something private, romantic & slightly off-the-grid then you can't go past this place; located a couple of k's from the bustling village of Akaroa is an idyllic oasis, nestled in a lush valley surrounded...
