We completely agree with the review dated 17 December 2013 which stated: "When you're handed a $10 breakfast voucher each, to spend at a cafe over the road, I'm not sure it entitles the establishment to call itself a B & B. $10 does not buy you much of a breakfast and when you have paid A$269 I don't think... This French inspired B&B is very small but a great spot to access Fremantle's attractions. We had a room up the back of the hotel so the balcony was NOT overlooking the cute courtyard but it was way too hot anyway to sit out there. The king bed had great soft clean quality sheets and comfy pillows and a good... More

This B&B was the perfect place to stay when I attended a conference in Fremantle. I enjoyed a charming room with delightful decor, with a large bathroom and laundry facilities. My colleagues stayed at a large hotel nearby that was far more expensive and lacked the personality of this delightful old building. Staff were very helpful.

My partner and I stayed here for one night as a surprise. Really loved the courtyard in front, it has a romantic European feel. We stayed in the Duyfken room, with a tiny balcony facing the side of the property. The room was very nice, with a rustic feel. We were a bit disappointed that there wasn't a breakfast voucher... An adorable B&B, the most beautiful place, with outstanding staff (very helpful with parking suggestions!), in the most perfect spot in Fremantle. Our room was the Batavia and it was clean and very nice, we had tables and chairs for card games and a little fridge and balcony and tons of storage. Despite other reviews on this site, we thought... We loved our recent 3 night stay at Port Mill B&B! The rooms aren't huge but are very tasteful and quirky. Found the bed really comfy. PROS * location! It is just off the cappuccino strip - easy walking distance to the markets, restaurants and many tourist places to visit (Freo Harbour, Freo Prison, Arts Centre, Sail n Anchor, Clancy's,... More

This property has wonderful staff, a beautiful entrance and delightful flourishes (chocolates strewn everywhere and cakes). However, the bed is really uncomfortable and the rooms are tiny. The stair carpet is stained and the reception is left open (even when your bags are stored before/after check in). Unfortunately, you can hear other guests and noise if someone talks outside. I... One building in a private, exclusive courtyard has been turned into a lovely, very cosy Bed and Breakfast. Marie is friendly and very helpful, making you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. The rooms are quite small but that's no problem, as they are very comfortable and have a great feel to them. Included were fresh cakes waiting, home... More

We are in the midst of a three day stay and can not imagine a more positive experience. Marie is wonderful. So far she has arranged a doctor appointment, recommended several wonderful meals at locals' favorite places, helped us sort out local transport, warned us off the tourist traps and become a trusted advisor on all things "Freo". We spent... More
