Stayed in the English Room for 2 nights at the start of our tour of Perth. Room has absolutely everything you could need - air-con, tv, fridge, tea, coffee, milk, cd player, iron & board, toiletries, lovely furniture, bedding and a balcony with table and chairs. There are lots of useful information folders and books for guests use. Yes the... more

We stayed in the English room which was spectacular. The bathroom isnt ensuite but is luxurious & exclusively yours. The location is good with a 10 minute walk to the town centre & very close to the prison. The breakfast is a good time to meet the other guests & is freshly cooked & delicious. Suzy the manager was very... more

We spent a night here after a backpacker tour and were looking forward to a bit of luxury, peace and quiet. We got the 'luxury' items of nice room, clean bedding and our own bathroom but a good nights sleep we did not have. Throughout the night there was a seemingly never ending procession of banging doors, flushing toilets, creaking... more

Just a great find. Why stay in a hotel when you can enjoy a wonderful experience in this charming facility. We stayed 2 days before boarding a cruise and enjoyed the room (Endevor) and was quite pleased with the staff and the great morning breakfast. I would highly recommend this location. By the way I also own a hotel. more

The rooms are attractively decorated with interesting antiques and knickknacks. The bathrooms have been created in the corner of each room, so they are not large, but are adequate. The breakfast room at the back is quite lovely. For breakfast there was a selection of cereals, bread, fruit. We were asked if we'd "like some eggs and bacon?" to which... more

My partner and i stayed here for just one night. We arrived very early in the morning and were impressed that we had been upgraded to a better room, and also that our room was ready so early so we could leave our bags and head out for the day. Fothergills is a grand colonial style house (in fact, two... more

We are just back from a trip to Australia which included a six nights stay at Fothergills. We were travelling with our little baby daughter and stayed in the Endevour room. Lovely spacious room which is situated at the back of the b&b making it very quiet. Very happy with our stay and look forward to staying there again next... more

I stayed in the Samson room, beautifully decorated in a colonnial style with interesting artwork. Lovely touches of water and lemonade in the refrigerator and two kit kats, just what you need for the midnight munchies! A fantastic library of books in the hall way just outside of the room. Ideally situated just on the hill above Fremantle which is... more

After an exhausting wedding day it was a breath of fresh air to come to Fothergills for our honeymoon. Not only was the accomodation absolutely beautiful and comfortable but the staff were warm, friendly and inviting. We were greeted as we arrived and our room which held a beautiful four poster carved bed with views overlooking the ocean and Fremantle... more

I love travelling so this Feb, i travelled Perth and Fremantle with my husband for 8 days. My Korean friend recommended Fothergills of Fremantle to me. I wrote Suzy(manager) about my booking via e-mail and she replied very quickly and politely. When my husband and i arrived at Fothergills, Suzy warmly welcomed us. Surprisingly, she greeted us saying hello in... more
