We stayed in the Endeavour room for 1 night and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience of being surrounded by antiques and artwork. Found the location very practical for short walks into the café strip, but far enough away to be relaxing and quiet. The great thing we found about this bed and breakfast is we couldn't tell how many other guests... More

We stayed there for 2 nights. The owners were extremely helpful! He even drove us to the ferry for Rottnest Island as we were late. One room was fantastic, with a good sized bathroom and an external veranda. The other one was unfortunately smaller and with an even smaller ensuite. But all very charming and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent... More

we stayed here for 2 nights. There is access to a large balcony on the 2nd storey where you can relax with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down over the ocean (and shipyards). It's a convenient 10 minute walk downhill to the main drag. The owner was very kind and generous, offering tips for going out... More

Great atmosphere, rooms, breakfast and hospitality. This is a beautiful house, decorated appropriately and with imagination. Walk down by the old and iconic penitentiary and the old market to the bars, bistros, shops and local beers of old Fremantle. It could hardly be better placed for convenience, views and walks.

I've been fortunate enough to stay twice at Fothergills when I've been working for The Literature Centre. It's a gorgeous property, with fascinating pictures and art everywhere you look. I love the Samson room in particular - private and luxurious and with a view of the sea from the beautiful balcony. The breakfasts are yummy, it's extremely clean, and I... More

Beautiful old Victorian house with some super pieces of art both inside and outside the house. House keeper was friendly and efficient. Bed very comfortable. Would recommend breakfast if not included - great continental spread with fresh seasonal fruit, great coffee and house poached eggs cooked to perfection. Easy stroll into town and close to jail and arts centre. House... More

My husband and I arrived exhausted in Fremantle after a 26 hour grueling journey from California. We were greeted by the gracious, charming owner, an Englishman, like us, and welcomed into his beautiful Victorian B&B as if we were family. The house is adorned with wondrous works of art and furnished with fabulous antiques. Our room was The English room... More

Wife and I arrived pm Friday and left early Monday morning for our flight. The room was clean and comfortable, up a short flight of stairs. The balcony at the end of the hall had views over the outer harbour and Fremantle central. The breakfasts cost $10 each but were well worth the money and the staff cooked each breakfast... More
