We stayed in another hotel before this one which was 100% better in every sense. Cleaner, cheaper, better atmosphere was fab. The only positive going for this place was that it had wifi and was in an alright location. It is described in the welcome pack as being stylish... which would probably be true if it was the 50's. Out... More

Located in the centre of the old town of Brielle, on the main street. There is good off street parking to the rear of the hotel. Staff really helpful. Towels changed everyday. Breakfast buffet was varied but croissants on only 1 morning. Evening meals very generous with plenty of choice. Lots to see and do in and around Brielle Really... More

Brielle is quite a small, Tourist orientated town and is central to several good coarse fishing venues. The Atlas Hotel is actually a pub with rooms mainly frequented by contractors working at Europoort. The rooms are tatty at best but clean, food served is generally good. breakfast is not full english but continental. The evening meals are freshly cooked and there is... The rooms are tatty at best but clean, food served is generally acceptable & sometimes good. breakfast is acceptable. The staff (mainly women) are very helpful & friendly. Brielle is a charming, historic walled-town and the Atlas Hotel is on the quaint main street. At one time is was a fine hotel, but has not been updated in many years. It is now part of a three-hotel chain and it seems the new owners are interested in neither quality nor service. Staff was unresponsive to requests and price... More

Room needed updating and totally lacked charm. Although we went to breakfast during the first hour of the buffet, it was very picked-over. The employees were not interested in customer satisfaction.

The historic town of Brielle was famously occupied by the Spanish around the 16th century. I think this was around the time that this hotel was last decorated. Some would say it has character - others would say it boasts wall to wall fitted filth. It truly is miserable. Brielle is nice, and there are lots of other nice hotels... More
