We were looking forward to a nice weekend alone and choose "The Spa Hotel" in Arvika. It is soooo not good! The bathroom was old and the shower fell down as I touched it and nobody could repair it, water all over the floor etc. etc. We didn´t find the staff very friendly either and that was a bit disappointing... This is a nice, cosy Swedish hotel. Great breakfasts, reasonably good sized rooms. But beware of the opening hours of the spa - the hotel advertises itself as a "hotel and spa", but the spa is actually CLOSED from 21.00 on Satuday until 15.00 on Mondays! More
