We stayed here as part of a cycle tour. The hotel was booked by the tour operator. The hotel is just on the Slovakia side of the Danube, a few metres from the old customs offices. The outside pictures don't really show its true position. The rooms were reasonably equipped, although it seemed a little 'old school' to offer sachets... More

Are you in Hungary or Slovakia? Actually, you are over the river border - technically, Slovakia, but two steps from Hungary. A stop on our bike ride from Vienna to Budapest, our group spent a very pleasant night here, had a good dinner and a spectacular wine tasting arranged by the hotel.

We did not stay at the hotel but had dinner there, on the terrace. It was delicious, the price was reasonable and the waiter was very kind and helpful. The inside of the restaurant looks magnificent with clean and modern restrooms.

Nice new building 50 meters by the boarder by Hungary. Very nice polite reception staff, restaurant is very nice with a great terrace, very very nice staff.Breakfast is good, need more variety of items, and should cover food from flies. City center is a short walk, a beautiful Church. There are no lifts to the room or parking, the hotel... More

We arrived on a very warm day comming from Gyor per bike. We first looked for an hotel in Komaron (the sister village on the other side of the Donau) but the hotels we saw were fully booked or too expensive. We crossed the bridge, a bit overheated, and tried the first hotel we saw. This was a very pleasant... More

Very nice hotel, located near the Danube where border from Hungary and Slovakia, the room is large, with air conditioning and also clean bathroom free internet. The service is very nice and friendly. The breakfast is very good. I like the structure because it's medieval. It's very easy to park that's the thing I like. There is a very nice restaurant,... I was in Komarno by business; accidentally we went to a restaurant of this hotel. Pleasant atmosphere, good food, tasty and good, a good glass of Slovak wine, you can get a good rest. Moderate prices and very friendly service. I can only recommend to anyone passerby. I do not know why the hotel is named Hell (Slovakian: "Peklo" ,... More

The pictures on the net make the place look like a historical building which it isn't. On the other hand it is very convenient for cyclists on the Danube bike path and has a safe garage. The staff are very friendly and professional too. The food at the restaurant is good and they pay attention if you have special needs... More

On the Slovakian side of the Danube, on a small island in the river (Elizabeth island) sits the hotel Peklo, about 10 minutes walk from the town centres of both Komárno and its Hungarian twin, Komárom. There's little reason to be here, other than for business, and the hotel fulfils its purpose well. A warm welcome, in Slovak, Hungarian, German... More

Only one night, but I had all I needed, clean, confortable, warm room. Good and friendly service in the restaurant. Also some typical Slovak dishes. I dont have minor complaint. I recommed for short and also longer stays. Hungary is over the bridge. You may enjoy nice historical places. Suitable for couples, friends, even groups and families.
