We spent 2 nights at Penzion Parizky, in Stara Lesna, in September, 2006 and it was every bit as wonderful as it looks on its web site.

It is a very friendly and quaint, and is in a very quiet, peaceful wooded location. the rooms are paneled with light, natural wood, with wood floors, and natural wood furniture. There is a fish pond and covered barbeque area on the grounds. The rooms were spacious, and spotless with large balconies with a view of the mountains. The beds had wonderful down comforters and pillows. Both of our rooms had a large loft area with room to sleep 3 additional people. All rooms have a private bathroom.

The restaurant is very good, the included cold breakfast has a lot of fresh choices, and we actually ate dinner at the hotel both nights - the food was excellent.

It is a terrific value - we paid around $17. USD per person, including breakfast. The town of Stara Lesna is nearby, and in my opinion is the prettiest of all the towns we... more
