If you are looking for luxury and value for money, do not choose the porta nova hotel. Rooms are very basic. Electric sockets hanging off the wall, no glasses, no water, were given a bath mat, then someone took it away the next day. Hotel Porta Nova is in a good position for resort. Tavira has lots of interesting bars, shops and other places. The boat to the beach at less than 2 euros return is fantastic value. More
