We found PDR excellent value, the layout of the complex was good for us. We were in a little 1 bed villa (27A). It was adjoined by 2 other similar villas. There was a feeling of space about this area of the complex, it was a 3 to 5 minute walk to the reception/pool/restaurant area. We would consider PDR as... More

I have spent the last 2 summers here with my family. We booked it after a recommendation from a friend who has been here half a dozen times and loved it - definitely good enough for us! This is a sprawling property with beautiful private villas. Its like a whole little village iitself. The villas have their own surrounding garden... More

Very laid-back, quite old-fashioned holiday village. Accommodation basic but clean, lovely outside are in the two-bed villas including fantastic roof terrace. Wouldn't like to be near pool, usually fairly poor entertainment on until 11/12ish at night. Location good, stroll or land train down to ferry to beach. Staff mostly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was poor, next time would save money... More

Very clean if a little basic/rustic accommodation set in magnificent grounds. This complex offers great value for money (haggle with them for a deal!!) The complex is quite large but with lots of green open space and fabulous trees and plants, which make it seem tranquil. Maid service was very good and the towels & bed linen changed twice during... Just back from a 10 day holiday at Pedras De Rainha in Cabanas. The studio apartment we had would have actually slept 6 as there were three beds on the ground floor and three low beds up on a mezzanine floor. Place was spotless and cleaners were in 5 days out of 7. Loads of plates, pots, cutlery, etc, a... More

I only knew "Pedras del Rei", about 10km from this one, and i really found what i expected from his "sister": a big, nice pool, a beautiful garden, the grass always clean and cut. Also the tennis and padel courts were clean and usable. It was great to have breakfast at the balcony in the morning. The furniture wasn´t much... More

Managed to get a cheap deal to Pedras and fell in love with it straight away. Our little bungalow was a home from home and being able to have breakfast on the sunny patio, lunch on the grass and a barbecue outside after dark was such a treat. Wether couldn't have been kinder with 73 degrees each day. We had... More

Pedras da Rainha is a 5-minute drive to Tavira and to boats to the beach. It is a typical village with many houses (mostly just one floor) with lots of trees and green. Ideal for families or groups of friends who enjoy a quiet holiday. Almost a photocopy of Pedras D'el Rei All houses have gardens, a great advantage for... More

Started on the first day as we we're placed as faraway from the pool and the one shop as you could imagine, having 3 young children (10, 6 ,4 ) made things difficult, asked to be moved in which they obliged half way through the next day.We we're half board, The Breakfast, every morning we had to ask to fill the...
