Tavira is one of our favourite places and since we had no car this time we chose the Por do Sol as it was central and had good reviews. These reviews proved accurate. My wife and I stopped in Tavira while on our honeymoon. We were met at the Residencial Por Do Sol with a very warm welcome. The English-speaking proprietors went out of their way to make us feel at home there. I booked a stay here last minute and couldn't believe how lucky the selection was. This family-run Residencial is located on the west side of the river and is an easy 5-10 minute walk from the bus station.
