This building (previous monastic cells) was elegantly transformed into a small hotel, located in a very nice square, where the city walls meet the sea. We stayed there for a week-end break and we recommend it for the character of the hotel, the location, the calmness, the history (the story says that the poet Giannis Ritsos was born in one... More

Monenvasia is one of the most beautiful place in Greece and this hotel is very probably the best place to sleep. Good confort and really quite in the evening. Just you and the sea! The bilding was a monastry but now have been renewed and it is really nice. In the evening, the show from the windows is umbelieveble: sky... More

Great location in the middle of the lower town. A quaint old building, apparently originally monks "cells". Clean and pleasant with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is great, being fresh and made from locally produced ingredients, all provided by the owner and his family, and taken outside in a quiet tree lined square one could have stepped back... The location is great, the breakfast is very traditional (if you want a buffet it is not your place) but i found it very tasteful. The rooms are nice but consider that this is an historical building there is no way to have the luxuries of a spa hotel. The hotel is situated in a unique spot and it is... More

The best place for a stay in Monemvasia! Very very friendly owner. Clean and really romantic and nice looking room. You can really enjoy the medieval castle vibe. Located right in the middle of the Monemvasia castle which is a great side. Close to restaurants and shops. You can have breakfast outside with a nice view. Very nice. It's true... More

We came in the afternoon after half day trip in a very hot day and were pleasantly surprised by the warm reception. We were served freshly squeezed orange juice as a welcome drink. The room was rather small, a little bit worn out, but clean and well furnished. There was free parking space next to the hotel. We were provided... More

A very traditional place, best location, very friendly owners! We had a wonderful 3 night stay, with excellent room conditions and a very traditional Greek breakfast served. Quiet all the time, day and night!

We, as a couple with a kid, stayed with another couple in the so-called "marriage suite", where there are 2 sleeping rooms with separate bathrooms each one, one big living room & a nice balcony with a beatiful sea view. The room is decorated in a traditional greek way with beautiful elements, carpets etc. We have been obviously lucky, as... More

Everything was perfect. The view, the location, the decoration. The breakfast was delicious, served outside in a quite square under the shade of the trees, with a view to the church and the sea. The backgammon in the room was a nice touch. You can also lend books at the reception, mostly related to the famous Greek poet Ritsos who... More
