We stayed 2 nights in the nice little tower. The place is stunning, because of the views. Because of the low season we paided much less than the normal high season price. If we had paided the high season price than everything should be perfect wich wasn't. After the room was cleaned the floor was sticky. I don't know what... More

We were going to stop to Monemvasia for an evening (we were on a road trip around the Peloponnese) but enjoyed our first night so much, we decided to stay for an extra day. The location of the hotel is unique - the view is beautiful and it is still very close to the old town (walking distance). We stayed... More

Stayed one night in the Tower room no 1 last week. It was the most amazing room hotel I've ever been.Sorrounded all over by the sea and just at the foot step of the huge rock and beutifully decorated. I felt as if I'm in a fairy tall princess.

We were invited to a wedding in Monemvasia and stayed at the Lazareto hotel. It is very beautiful and we loved the suite and definitely the view. It is located on the island but allows you to make a walk towards the castle and enjoy the view. The breakfast was satisfying. However the price we were given was different (lower)... More

This hotel is overpriced and absolutely AWFUL. We were there July 2014 for a wedding and stayed at hotel since the wedding reception took place there. For 200 Euro/night, the AC didn't work, the shower door was broken, the toilet seat ripped off the base. Just because the hotel is closer to Monemvasia castle, DON'T STAY HERE. Find another place.... My wife and I stayed at the Lazareto Hotel in the Castle rock of Monemvasia for three days and we were extremely satisfied with the hotel. It is located in the historick site but just as you enter in to the rock from the causeway. The rooms are very rustic and blend well with the architecture of the castle. To... More

Much anticipated for years to stay here, worst experience ever. Needless to say i can add a list of faulty amenities and services during my stay, these including a terrible bath with mould! in the not-functioning jacuzzi, dirty towels and a lack in bath robes, AWFUL hotel staff dragging their feet around trying to minimise their work load, thus ignoring... This place would rate the worst hotel we have seen in our trip around Greece. Let me explain why. Price 120 euros so we have paid this on several other establishment and we errrr expecting 120 euros worth. As seasoned travellers we gave stayed in better 50 euro hotels than this place. The room was number 13 it was small... More

We stayed at Lazareto Hotel for one night and we were lucky enough to be given the 'lighthouse' room since that was the only available room when we arrived at 8pm without a reservation. It was the most beautiful and unique hotel room I have ever stayed at, making our night very special. The lighthouse was turned into a really... More

We were lucky to arrive at the end of the season. The hotel was almost empty and very quiet. The view from the room was lovely, and the room itself beautiful and rather comfortable. The breakfast was served outside and was nice. The hotel is quite suitable fot disabled travellers.
