Kinsterna hotel was really awesome, and it was certainly worth its price!! Everything was perfect, from the kind personel until the magnificent construction!! Dealing with a breath-taking view and the variety of things to see and places to explore, we were more than satisfied, as kinsterna hotel couldnt be better. In my opinion its a piece of art and could... More

Having had the benefit of four more years of touring the Peloponnese, Kinsterna still rates as a first class hotel and we wanted to give it another try to see if we could feel more comfortable there. Although now surfaced and with much improved signage, the driveway is still not good and the security gates remain unwelcoming. Reception was much... More

I am a very well travelled Greek who has stayed at luxury hotels all over the world and in most good hotels in Greece. So I have a basis for comparison. Kinsterna is simply outstanding. The gardens are magnificent. I cant think of any Greek garden which is more beautiful and more appropriately planted. A quiet, secluded and romantic location.... More

My wife and I just came back from a week away. Her review is 2 below.. We had a very nice stay. I like that the hotel has lots of areas inside and out, so you never feel like you are on top of people. Nice to have 2 pools. It would be nicer if they pushed people with kids... More

I have visited this hotel twice, once in end of April and once on last Christmas. This first was before the expansion when it was brand new and I was blown away by the restoration, ambiance, location, level of service, food, spa treatments, in short it was perfect. It feels like you are in Greek Tuscany. The second was right... More

Designed by a local architect this restored mansion is a photographers dream. About 10 minutes outside of the main town and a few hundred metres above sea level, the hotel has lovely views of surrounding countryside (olive groves, vineyards) and out to sea. There are currently 40 or so rooms, and a few more are being finished off for the... More

We were traveling with my 87 year old mother and had to change hotels from one in Monemvasia as her knees did not agree with the streets and steps there (my fault not the place). Some friends had stayed at the Kinsterna so we rang the hotel to ask about suitable rooms for my mother. They were so helpful and... More

My wife Ann and I are just ending a truly memorable five night stay at the Kinsterna. As representatives of the International Travel Writers Alliance we are able to visit a range of hotels worldwide and I must say the Kinsterna is truly unique. The property itself is a lovingly restored Byzantine mansion sitting on a landscaped hillside overlooking the... More

I had wanted to stay at this hotel for a while, and my expectations were surpassed. The hotel is in a beautiful old mansion, which has been tastefully renovated and modernized. The room we were allocated was lovely - the one with the Ottoman fireplace in the photo. The furnishings and fittings in both the bedroom/living room and bathroom were... More

A hotel worth visiting as it combines modern luxuries within a medieval environment. Professional service, excellent rooms with a special decoration. On arrival there was a small mix-up as there is a gate in order to enter and park the car and no-one was there to meet us, but it was a tiny inconvenience. A bit expensive but worth it... More
