in short: a must visit retreat hotel (rather a small village) is extremely well built with attention to detail. great place for kids, very good room service, friendly staff, good quality food (don't even bother dining out). on the negative side the bar seems a bit neglected.

It was the fourth time we visited the Kinsterna Kotel this time again during the New Year period. It is like coming home, the way we were greeted, the way we were treated, we were pampered over and over again. The new section is very nice, although we did not see any rooms as we had booked a Kinsterna suite, which... More

Stayed at Kinsterna for Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed it... Has some issues, which needs improvement!!! Rooms was a good size, although there were smaller ones too... And I would love a fireplace. The garden in front was not well kept and fruit was rotting on the trees... Restaurant was seriously overpriced fir the area and they were not different options... More

The people at Kinsterna are really kind, the rooms are quite large and the view from the hotel is awesome. The quality of the restaurant is also pretty good compared to other restaurants In the region. In addition to that, the hotel provides a wide range of services: spa, bikes, guides for hiking... I would recommand without a single doubt... More

We had a great stay here, being upgraded on arrival and leaving with a gift of olive oil and wine made in house. The re-design of the house has been perfectly done and the view is breathtaking. The rooms are tastefully but very differently decorated. Do your research if you have particular preferences. The first hotel to ever send me... More

if you want to relax, a luxury hotel is a good thing, and Kinsterna is that. But Kinsterna's history started a millenia or so ago, and is surrounded by olive groves. That context is incredibly grounding; it's hard not to let go of the hustle, and give into relaxation. Add to that their own wines, olive oils, jams, breads, and... More

I had the pleasure of staying at the Kinsterna hotel and spa in August 2015, with my wife. The experience was so fantastic that I felt compelled to write a review. The restaurant at Kinsterna succeeds in capturing the robust flavors of Greece without pomp and pretense but rather a focus on local produce that is masterfully executed. At Kinsterna... More

while too small to be a luxury hotel in the usual sense of the word the Kinsterna has most of the hallmarks of one. large, well-designed rooms. nice amenities and bathrooms. lovely service both in attention and staff ratio. the pools are coldish but the water (drinkable spring water with no chlorine is well worth the chill. you don't need... A historic boutique hotel that respects itself and the history of Monemvasia. This is a beautiful old building which has been very tastefully restored and added to. Beautiful gardens full of trees and scented shrubs, fabulous spa offerings and beautiful landscape with nice sea view. A truly exquisite old building and surroundings! Wherever you look, you admire the architectural design,... More
