Stayed here for 5 nights as part of a trip around the area. It's a beautiful historic hotel and our room admittedly a suite was beautiful but with a ridiculously small bathroom. The hotel had great facilities with spa and pools.the food we had was first rate and the staff were very attentive. Our big problem was the amount of... More

We recently stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and held our wedding reception here. The hotel is wonderful and the staff are very accommodating and helpful. We worked closely with Theo on the arrangements. Our family and friends that stayed at the hotel were very impressed with all the accommodations. The food and wine are out of this world.... More

Kinsterna is an old manor house which has been restored stylishly. There are two pools, a good spa and a lovely sistern where you can have a drink and tables are set up for dinner. Food is good and all the produce is grown on the estate including their very good house wine which is reasonably priced. Rooms are a... More

While it has been developed to a high standard this place just doesn't cut the mustard service-wise. It's clean and comfortable, and the hardware works adequately well (ignoring small - but telling - stuff like broken shaving mirror lights). But the service leaves a huge amount to be desired for a hotel that aspires to operate at the level it... More

I spent two weeks here with a friend. Immediately on arrival we were upgraded to a honeymoon suite (cue fits of giggles) which were (and this would be a common theme) graciously tolerated. Our room was magnificent. Very, very tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious. The private terrace overlooking the olive grove and Aegean made it perfect. The location and Byzantine... More

THis place is heaven on earth, it is so beautiful, has been so tastefull renovated and the gardens are full of colour lovely flowers. The breakfast was amazing, the staff went over and above to make sure our stay was memorable, we only stayed for 3 days and some of the activities they offered were not available during our stay.... This is not your typical Greek destination: no blue doors or whitewashed buildings; no souvlaki stands or souvenir shops. Kinsterna is a lovely, tasteful hideaway faithfully and lovingly designed around a set of medieval buildings. Located at the bottom of the Peloponnese with an inspiring view of Monemvasia (an amazing walled city built on an island), it is definitely one... More

This is a great, wonderful place. Not only 5 star all the way (quality of accommodation, service, food, setting, etc), but the people make the difference. The staff is overfriendly and professional; the manager and his assistants seek to indulge in the history and the future of the estate, the community and the region. Fascinating how passionate they can be... More
