One great hotel near the Castle of Monemvasia, surrounded by olive trees and having a gorgeous view to sea, Is a place where you can relax, eat gourmet with local products and hear the sound of silence.

This is now my favourite hotel! Everything about it is lovely. Luxurious and romantic, friendly and attentive service. Oodles of history, lovely views, everything smells nice, the food and wine is fantastic. Great location well away from the busy parts of the country and hidden in the hills with a view of the sea...

We have just returned after spending a wonderful week at the Kinsterna. It all started when we arrived at the electronic gates and buzzed for reception. At this point you still could not see the hotel. When we parked our car a buggy arrived to pick us up and take our luggage and then we went round the perimeter of... More

It was our second stay and a perfect one again. The hotel is a renovated byzantine-venetian mansion on a hill, close to Monemvasia, view on the rock and sea and a fantastic garden. The rooms (we had suite 31 this time) are decorated individually with lots of taste and both well designed and comfy. I loved the mix of old... More

Stayed a week here after a wedding weekend not to forget. The staff could not do enough for us and the rest of the wedding party as we took up the whole hotel for the weekend. They were super friendly, helpful in every way from suggesting new drinks to be had around the pool to trying local restaurants when you... More

We stayed here for one night (24th Sept 2014) as we are looking for a venue for an event next year. The Kinsterna was absolutely beautiful, a stunning hotel, very professionally run and a perfect setting for a group. Theo was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and the staff were also friendly and polite. We... More

Stayed for 1 night whilst touring the Peloponnese and we were completely bowled over by the style and ambiance of this hotel. Set on a mountainside with fabulous views the hotel has been beautifully restored from the ruins of an old mansion house. The Manager Theo and staff made us extremely welcome. Our room (36) was beautifully designed and spacious.... More

Set high in the hills of the Peloponnese surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and with a direct view of the Aegean sea, the hotel has been beautifully restored and designed. We stayed in a Byzantine room which, although on the darker side, was well designed and set inside a long vaulted chamber. Modern design touches are threaded through with a... More
