We searched for a hotel near Monemvasia, Greece to spend New Year's Eve and a couple of extra days. We found this hotel and saw only positive reviews. When we checked in we discovered why. At every step, from booking to checkout, this was a wonderful experience. The facility is amazing. It is a converted old "manor house" with Venetian,... More

The Kinsterna Hotel & Spa is a hidden gem in Monemvasia. The attention to detail in the property, the food, the staff are all exceptional. We spent some days before and including New Year; two adults and our two children aged 12 and 7. Perfect place to relax. You definitely need a car if you want to get out and... More

Spent one night at Kinsterna on the 23rd December. What a special place. Slightly out of season. Probably full Christmas Eve that we were leaving. Really really nice experience. A destination hotel in the middle of nowhere. Very nice hotel room with Korres toiletries (always quality oh the establishment signifies Korres products). Very nice bathroom, exceptional staff. Felt like we... More

One great hotel near the Castle of Monemvasia, surrounded by olive trees and having a gorgeous view to sea, Is a place where you can relax, eat gourmet with local products and hear the sound of silence.

This is now my favourite hotel! Everything about it is lovely. Luxurious and romantic, friendly and attentive service. Oodles of history, lovely views, everything smells nice, the food and wine is fantastic. Great location well away from the busy parts of the country and hidden in the hills with a view of the sea...

We have just returned after spending a wonderful week at the Kinsterna. It all started when we arrived at the electronic gates and buzzed for reception. At this point you still could not see the hotel. When we parked our car a buggy arrived to pick us up and take our luggage and then we went round the perimeter of... More

It was our second stay and a perfect one again. The hotel is a renovated byzantine-venetian mansion on a hill, close to Monemvasia, view on the rock and sea and a fantastic garden. The rooms (we had suite 31 this time) are decorated individually with lots of taste and both well designed and comfy. I loved the mix of old... More

Stayed a week here after a wedding weekend not to forget. The staff could not do enough for us and the rest of the wedding party as we took up the whole hotel for the weekend. They were super friendly, helpful in every way from suggesting new drinks to be had around the pool to trying local restaurants when you... More
