This small hotel embodies everything that is quaint and hyggelig, the Danish word for all things cosy. Where else in the world are candles lit for your breakfast, served on Royal Copenhagen, a smallish breakfast buffet but picture worthy with its wonderful array of crusty buns and pastries. A world away from the jostling and frenetic pace at American hotel... More

We have just spent four wonderful days staying in this gorgeous B and B. It is situated in a quiet street on the outskirts of Skagen, but within 15 minutes walking distance to the town centre. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and we slept under light, yet warm and cosy duvets. Extra pillows were... More

This was my favorite accommodation on my visit across Denmark! It is an absolute gem. Charming property - cosy and comfortably furnished rooms with private bath. The main building includes breakfast room and a great living room with fireplace, chairs, a perfect spot to relax or read on a cool evening. Breakfast is excellent - best I've had in Denmark... More

A very nice place in Skagen consisting of 2 main buildings in a large green garden. We decided quite late to stay in Badepension Marienlund and called to make a reservation. The Service was excellent and our arrival was perfectly arranged even though we arrived after dark. The rooms very nicely decorated and the beds comfortable. Breakfast buffet was served... More

We travel as a couple extensively. Some accommodation is adequate, some more than meets expectations, but occasionally in your journeys you come across a jewel. This small hotel will stay in our thoughts for a long time. Comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated and expertly managed, it is so welcoming. The breakfast was entirely ample. We have had better, but have always... More

# Marienlund was possible the most comfortable place I remember staying since Summer of 1998, when we stayed at a very comfortable B&B in Sherbourne, Dorset, UK! # Comfortable, clean and cosy room, # Quiet location, # Excellent breakfast (for Denmark) in a very nice light room with a wooden ceiling # Very good value for money, given that this... This was a beautiful place to stay, and we'd happily go back any time. The room was stylish and clean. Breakfast was delicious, and I loved the pretty blue and white china. I also loved the idea of a library/sitting room for guests, though we didn't have a chance to use it this time. Nothing was too much trouble for... More

The best little hotel in Skagen! We enjoy our stay in August very much! Large room in the anex, fantastic breakfast in the main building, gardens with shaddow and nice flowers and trees. Private parking for our car in the garden. We rent good bicycles there. 5 minutes walking from the senter and the hotel`s neighbourhood is not noisy. Perfect... More

I was there for a night on a saturday. The B&B is staffed until 6pm, but we were given the keys of the main door of the property, where there is a cozy sitting room where the guest can stay. The price isn't cheap for a B&B, but Denmark isn't overall a cheap country. The bedroom was very clean, nicely... More

In a quiet neighborhood walking distance to the harbour, main part of town, non-bathing beach and museum/sights. Service was great, both husband/wife that run the place are very helpful, breakfast was great. Sitting room really quaint, the grounds also vast. Pension does offer parking, bike rentals, TVs in room as well as Wifi and private bath. My room was a... More
