Hotel Plesner is a very good hotel but has some flaws that pulls the whole down. The architecture is really beautiful and has a lot of history. You can clearly see Ulrik Plesner's talent in the facade. In general, most of the hotel is well-appointed and beautifully done. Our room in the annex building - an old horse stable -... More

Walking into the lobby and restaurant was like walking into a magazine, quaint and perfectly decorated for a beachside hotel. Despite others saying staff we rude, we found the opposite! Once talking to the staff, they were very very pleasant and helpful. We stayed in the garden suite and it was very nice. Recently re-done and it was great to... More

This is the worst hotel I ever been to!! There is only three parking spots availeble for the whole hotel!!! Rooms is nothing like pictures. Very small and no space between bed and wall. No Windows. Staff are rude. Not service minded at all!!!!!!! Stay away from this hotel.

From the moment we arrived the staff were rude and unhelpfull We booked on the basis of car parking on site. When we arrived there were only 3 parking bays. The room was ok but the bathroom shower was dirty with mold growing on one wall it lacked a safe and hairdryer. I asked to leave passports etc in the... More

For several years we have stayed in Skagen, and have almost visited all the hotels there, but this is absolutely the worst. Nice rooms, and location, but be aware of the smell from the fish factory, and keep a distance to the staff!!!! Kristin

Very, very cute hotel where every detail has been thought through...rooms are tiny though. Ulrik..the owner or somekind of 'head' was just terribly rude. The forced 'welcome' and negative attitude to everything I asked killed the cuteness of the place. ..and I guess it was her mother there during the breakfast...as bitter...maybe it is the weather or the terrible smell... Skagen is famously beautiful and this hotel has been beautifully decorated to provide a very comfortable base in the area. We ate dinner in the hotel and it was very good, but the breakfast was exceptional ! Wifi could be better, especially in the new rooms but its a very comfortable, stylish place I'd happily recommend.

What a pleasant surprise, a lovely little hotel with a kind, caring staff.. lovely chic rock garden and light airy rooms. I loved my night here.. I found it by accident and am glad of it .. really a fantastic little hotel and restaurant..

We spent 4 nights here and can recommend it as a superb base for discovering the delights of Skagen. The room was very comfortable & spacious, although we were in the main house and the "courtyard rooms" did look small. So maybe a good idea to check when booking. There was good free WiFi, and the breakfasts were excellent. The... More

Small, friendly hotel in walking distance to any attraction in the town of Skagen. Newly restored, light and friendly rooms, awesome Hästens beds and linings. Great breakfast with different types of bread, spreads, cerials, meats, eggs and cheases. Only the bathrooms are a bit small and oldfashioned, but still functional, clean and not worn down.
