We didn’t book in advance and were charged CZK 1,500 per night on the spot for a spacious, clean room. Adjacent to the room was a bath room with shower and (far too small) towels. The rate didn’t include breakfast, neither did the satellite TV work. Soon after we had paid and got the key to our room the staff disappeared and wasn’t seen again. As a consequence, the beds weren’t made and the (far too small) towels weren’t exchanged. The pension is located in the centre of Olomouc and doesn’t offer any parking, which is a pain if arriving by car since we couldn’t find a place to leave the car somewhere close to the house. All in all, we believe that we have been overcharged and that there is better value-for-money accommodation in Olomouc. more
