Arkadia is an old fashioned boutique type hotel within a lovely old building with vaulted ceilings. Only a 3 star and that is a fair rating but the room I had was a generous suite with lovely outlook over the square and furnished with period antiques, All for the princely sum of £45 a night ! The towels are still... More

The Hotel Arkada was a joy to stay in. There were two prearranged parking spaces in front of the Hotel on the main square. The gentleman at reception was extremely pleasant, accommodating and with a sharp sense of humour. The two couples who had booked a standard double room were immediately upgraded to suites at no extra charge. The suites... More

We stayed in Levoca for one night, in between our travels to Bardejov and Spiss castle. We were upgraded to a suite with incredible antique furniture in a room that was massive in size. As a result, it turned out to be pretty great value for our money. The restaurant below was great, with excellent service, in a really cool... More

The hotel was probably great at its best time and it has great vibes. It just need some investment and renovation. The deck clerk as well as waiter in hotel restaurant were very kind and helpful. The hotel room (No 102) was huge, with beatiful vault and view on the main square. When we entered it for the first time... More

This hotel has a flare to it. As you will see in the pictures we enjoyed the old style. I would not recommend staying in Levoca for a long time, but We enjoyed our stay in hotel arcada . It is pretty close spiss castle(15 min drive) , not too expensive. I personally think the breakfast is too expensive (in... More

I can't believe the previous reviewer; Kezmarok or Bardejov may be more celebrated, but for us Levoca is one of the most fascinating towns in Central Europe and a living history of the cultures which have swept through it, most notably the Saxons/Germans who were expelled after WWll unsurprisingly, and the Jewish population who were deported to suffer hideous deaths,... We stayed in Levoca for one night on our way from Krakow to Budapest at the Hotel Arkada. The town itself is not very exciting but it was a nice break from our very busy trip. The hotel was right on the main square although a little hard to get to as they were doing a lot of road work... More

Hotel was easy to find on the main square. Very quiet. Reception staff were helpful. Rooms were large with huge bathroom, lounge area and for some reason a kitchen sink! Decor was very old fashioned - felt like staying at your Gran's house. Clean and in order but just out of date.

planned on staying for one night and ended up staying for five! As well as being a wonderful historic town, Levoca is a fantastic base for exploring the entire Spis region, within easy reach of the High Tatras and southern Poland as well as the wine growing region of Hungary. As the town is at an altitude of around 2,000... More

I booked online and arrived late at night. Although desk clerk & I shared no language we were able to figure out parking, room, etc.and he helped me with luggage (reception on floor 1--above found level). Front toom overlooked a square with lovely historic buildings. Evocative at night and glorious in the sunshine of day. Agree with UNESCO designation of... More
