We stayed here with a tour group in July,2014 and was vas very disappointed with not only the room but with the location. After a long bus ride we were looking forward to just relaxing in our room however the A/C did not work (it was a very warm and humid day), the beds were hard as were the pillows.... More

Terrible restaurant experience: warm white wine, meat as dry and stiff as a old shoe, i dont have any words for the desert. They ask premuim prices but it's a total ripoff. I have a feeling that the same people who are cleaning the rooms are also cooking

Clean and modern but in the middle of some industrial estate about 20mins walk from everywhere. You have to pay to use tiny pool, table tennis or basketball. Breakfast buffet was fairly low quality but filling. Air conditioning in rooms was very temperamental and we had to move rooms for this reason. Restaurant by cross roads (thatched roof) was very... It was my business trip to Sigulda to meet with local partners and Segevold was picked up by latvian guys. Now I can say that it was good choice with one exception - food. Location - can't say much about location as I arrived by car and didn't go for city tour or anything similar. But seemed that it's not... More

We stayed here one night while on a tour of the Baltic States. The hotel is extremely comfortable. The room was very large. We had a separate living area, a separate bedroom, and a separate bathroom, all very large by West European standards. The room on the 2nd floor had air conditioning (which was important this rather warm summer). Overall,... More

Very good hotel in Sigulda. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was very tasty and good. There are 2 supermarkets near the hotel and one cinema as well. Not so far from the tourist area. We have been there twice. Even in winter our stay there was very pleasant – a very good SPA area is available.

Both the bathroom and bedroom were spacious, it was beautifully quiet outside, decor was both tasteful and artistic in an art nouveau/modern style, breakfast was included and decent by European standards, and there was AC, a refrigerator, and free wifi in the rooms.

While it was a welcome change from hostels and city life, it may been smarter to switch... More

Excellent hotel. Many rooms have air conditioners. Located a few minutes from a small mall with a supermarket and a cafeteria. It is also on the road to Cesis and Riga so if traveling by public transportation it is more convenient to take the bus from Riga than the train. Free wifi although some rooms are a bit far from... The hotel absolutely did not live up to it's star rating. To begin with upon arrival we were told rooms won't be ready till 3pm ( check in time is 14.00) as they have been too busy so we'll have to wait. When we finally got to the room ...The mini bars were empty- if you ordered water from the... More

We stayed as a couple in this hotel actually in August 2010. I just had to add some words about this place because it really made a great impression. We were travelling by car and the hotel was a little hard to find. Actually, the Malpils street is hard to find in general - it is right behind the VW... More
