Our first four stops were in hostels. Our arrival to this place brought smiles to our faces. Gorgeous furnishings. It is like walking in an antique store. There is no free wifi. You can sign up for a room/city connection hourly/daily). Of the six places we stayed in the Scandinavian/Baltic Capitols this place had the best breakfast (included).

Stayed for two nights. It's a handy location, 30 yards from 22 bus which goes straight to airport. On the edge of the Old Town which is small enough to wander round. The receptionist was quite friendly. Decor seemed strangely heavy duty, as though a nobility house gone to seed a little. Until i got to the room. It was... More

The hotel is located in the Old Town, very close to main places of interest, its personnel is quite friendly and polite. Even though the hotel is big, the breakfast room is indeed small. It is worth being a lark, as food, juice and coffee is quickly consumed and one has to wait until waiting staff replenishes it. Wi-Fi is... More

Let me start off on the positive side: The breakfast was very nice, the staff were without exception polite and helpful, arriving by bus 22, made it a breeze to get to the hotel and it's location is superb. With that being said, I can't help but add a few points. Entering the garden palace hotel is what I imagine... More

Great 4nt stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It was one of the quietiest hotels I have stayed in. I know you have to rely on other guests but most hotel doors slam no matter if you are thoughtful. Single beds were narrow but comfortable. We needed another pillow as no extra in the room. That arrived quickly... More

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel, we had a room at the end of the hall. The room was comfortable, but the beds were very small. I was afraid all night to not fall from my bed :) Breakfast was very good, with warm and cold food. I liked the entrance of the hotel, painted very nice and the... More

Nice hotel in Riga`s old town. Close to everything. Definetely not a 4 star hotel. Had a standard room on 5th floor, the room is spacious but had only 3 small windows in the roof. The air in the room was very dry. It said on the webpage they had free wifi, but that`s only in the lobby. The breakfast was... More

Nice hotel but definitely not four star. Staff very friendly and helpful and the location is brilliant. Just round the corner when you get off bus 22 from the airport just after you cross the river. Very close to all attractions in the old town. The rooms are comfortable although the shower cubicle is a little small. Room cleaned daily... More

This hotel is the perfect example of how greediness ca get the best of you. As we arrived we were told thAt there was no wifi available in the rooms, due to that we experienced a saturation in the restaurants daily breakfast buffet as everyone was trying to get a little of the wifi available in the Lobby area. The... More

Delightful hotel, re-modeled around the 18th century style and really wonderful. Great breakfast and so clean. Warm inviting rooms and very quiet. Attracts good clientele from all over Europe. Walking distance to everything, new town, museums. markets etc. Diagonally across from St Peters church and on the river. 10 minutes from airport. You cannot go wrong here. Highly recommended! At...
