I have been staying for a 1 night in the twin room, the price was quite low for this type of room in the hotel, so when i entered it i understood why. It is too too old building and this room had not been renovated at all, there are 2 small single beds with old mattress, the carpet, all... More

As all other reviewers, I would give it 5 stars for location. I think that would be the single most important reason for being here. However some other good features include good service. The check in was very smooth. While small, they do have a modern elevator. The rooms are heavy on the Victorian style, and not so much on... More

Would return as location is great, nice decor in reception and restaurant but the quality of the food and the room was average. Stayed two nights, booked one week in advance and payed upon arrival. Hotel is 20 mins bus ride from the airport(less than 1 min walk from the bus stop too) and you can get a return ticket... More

Right in the 'old town' area within easy walking distance of all amenities and the central railway station. A very reasonably priced hotel with the most wonderful breakfast selection. Rooms are very comfortable, and the whole impression of this hotel is of stylish elegance. Multilingual staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This was my second 3-night stay here and it will... If you go by car to Riga - avoid this hotel or any other hotel in old town without own parking lot. But for all other guests I really do recommend this fantastic place!! I've had a very nice room, a/c, nice bathroom and super Frühstück ;) i would go there again!

the rooms were extremely small even if we were just two people. pretty dirty. Therefore, for people with respiratory problems, this is not a good option. Moreover, the hotel cannot to be rated 4 stars. Despite the good location and beautiful aspect of the hotel, its rating would be a maximum of 3 stars. The website photos do not actually... More

The best location right at the back of the House of Blockheads. Beautiful lobby but interior of rooms are shabby and look tired. Please refurbish your rooms.Breakfast spread is OK and is promptly served at the first floor dining room area.

The hotel looked very posh, but as we have a saying in Finland: Many cakes look beautiful on the outside. The hotel could use a little updating. The bar was tiny, dinner space too small. And the Wi-fi did not work in the rooms even though you had to pay for it. Otherwise Riga as a town, very beautiful and... More

The best thing to say about this hotel is the staff. Right from check in until check out all the staff do there best to make you feel welcome and they will do a lot to help you. Next good thing to say about the hotel is the breakfast. And third good thing to say about the hotel is that... More
