Right in the 'old town' area within easy walking distance of all amenities and the central railway station. A very reasonably priced hotel with the most wonderful breakfast selection. Rooms are very comfortable, and the whole impression of this hotel is of stylish elegance. Multilingual staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This was my second 3-night stay here and it will... If you go by car to Riga - avoid this hotel or any other hotel in old town without own parking lot. But for all other guests I really do recommend this fantastic place!! I've had a very nice room, a/c, nice bathroom and super Frühstück ;) i would go there again!

the rooms were extremely small even if we were just two people. pretty dirty. Therefore, for people with respiratory problems, this is not a good option. Moreover, the hotel cannot to be rated 4 stars. Despite the good location and beautiful aspect of the hotel, its rating would be a maximum of 3 stars. The website photos do not actually... More

The best location right at the back of the House of Blockheads. Beautiful lobby but interior of rooms are shabby and look tired. Please refurbish your rooms.Breakfast spread is OK and is promptly served at the first floor dining room area.

The hotel looked very posh, but as we have a saying in Finland: Many cakes look beautiful on the outside. The hotel could use a little updating. The bar was tiny, dinner space too small. And the Wi-fi did not work in the rooms even though you had to pay for it. Otherwise Riga as a town, very beautiful and... More

The best thing to say about this hotel is the staff. Right from check in until check out all the staff do there best to make you feel welcome and they will do a lot to help you. Next good thing to say about the hotel is the breakfast. And third good thing to say about the hotel is that... More

We arrived at the hotel on my 60th birthday and were very pleasantly surprised when we entered our room to find a nice little birthday cake. The hotel has character from a bygone era. Our room was large with good comfortable beds (two singles put together). The decor looked a bit tired and could maybe be given a fresh look.... More

I’m just getting to leave after spending 2 nights in Old town Riga. This hotel exceeded ALL my expectations. The staff on arrival and at any other time where very friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was cozy, comfortable and clean. I was travelling single and had room 217 which had a balcony facing the courtyard. (could share this with... More

Excellent location, very clean, very good staff, and good selection for breakfast. So why not 5 stars. My room was bright and sunny, and in late June there isn't many hours when it's dark. I would have given this hotel 5 stars if it had black out curtains in the room, as it was just too light.
