The hotel is in a great location, 2 mins from the cathedral, the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We booked a city deal room, which I would not recommend, we had to upgrade, as the room was a smoking room and a separate external bathroom, the next room was slightly better but at least it had an internal... This hotel is ideal for a weekend visit to Riga. Situated around the corner from Dome square, it's ideal for all the attractions this city has to offer. Our room was right in the eves and was small, however we only slept in it so size wasn't a problem and the views across the city from the window were amazing.... More

This hotel is very easy to find, within walking distance of anyway in the old town. Staff were helpful and the room was clean. Would recommend for this type of trip. If you want romance it would probably not tick the box but for a base for sightseeing with friends.....perfect!!

This hotel was a great find and a real bargain. It is right in the heart of the old town and it's super easy to get places from here. The staff were friendly, the rooms big and clean and although very basic, the breakfast was everything you really need for a continental. If I was returning to Latvia then I... More

Good hotel, room was basic, clean but in need of a touch up. However this didn't put us off. Breakfast plentyful and something for all. The location is the huge selling point. Currently the off season, so pretty quiet in the hotel and out and about with very little noise. We asked for a backroom based on other comments, however... More

Really enjoyed our stay here, especially the free upgrade to the penthouse suite (thank you). Everywhere clean and tidy and breakfast just fine. The Street outside can be noisy but this is not the hotels fault. With closed windows you can't hear it. Riga is a beautiful city to visit and no visit would be complete without a night in... More

Great hotel in a very heart of Riga Old Town. We were given beautiful and spacious room with lovely view over the city roofs and it made our stay truly romantic and pleasing. Rooms are very clean and look like there were renovated not long time ago. Hotel staff is very friendly and seem to speak all languages in the... More

We stayed here for three nights Friday to Monday in February. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but fine for the price of our stay. The location is both the best and worst feature of this hotel. It is right in the centre of the old town which makes... More

I stayed at the Kolonna Hotel for a three nights. I can say that location is ideal, everything is right next to you. Very helpful staff. Breakfast - nothing special but basic. I always asking room with a view so this time I had a room right under the roof. You can have some problems if you are tall. The... More
