really great, no perfect location in the heart of the old town, just 10 minutes of walk from the central bus station. staff are perfect , speack god English and they are very helfull poeple. that was the good qualitys of the hotel now the bad. don't expect to sleep a good long night at this hotel. it is not...

Kolonna Hotel Riga was the first hotel in the Kolonna Hotels Group and opened its doors on June 2nd 2005.Tirgoņu street – as one of the most important streets in Riga was mentioned already in the 13th century. First information about buildings on this street was found in the documents dating back to the 14th century when German merchants built here close to the Dom square living houses. Over the years plenty reconstructions were made there, the most important in the seventies and eighties of the 18th century.Hotel Kolonna Hotel Riga has 41 rooms and can accommodate 100 guests at one time. The change in the style of houses was significant, instead of renaissance elements, facades were now designed embracing the features of classicism.
