We were here 3nights with my friend on a motorcycle-trip. Hotel is in a fairly good location but not the best. Room was clean and spacious and had some nice roof-view. Breakfast was average but not so tasty. Service was good and helpful when we got problems with our bikes but you could expect little better english-skills. There are better... more

My husband and I really would recommend this hotel if you are going to Riga. It is close enough to the city centre - short walk and you can cut through the park during the day. We booked a double room but when we arrived they didn't have any and upgraded us immediately to a suite which was really lovely... more

Our first choice was an other hotel but luckily it was fully booked. We were very happy to stay in Monika and in the area of beautiful Art Noveau buildings. Hotel staff was very polite and helpfull. Room was clean an quit. Old Tow is near and it was not a big deal to walk through the park there but... more

I stayed 4 nights in Hotel Monika with one friend in Room 322 which is spacious and has a specially adapted bathroom. Staff were very helpful & friendly. I've put lots of details on the Riga Forum. Didn't notice any noise and room was on street side. Had breakfast 2 days in restaurant and 2 days - at no extra... more

We stayed for 3 nights in a standard room for 2 people and had a park view on the 4th flooor. Our room and bathroom was of average size and clean. We had our towels changed daily and the room was very warm, fairly quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast is execellant and includes unlimited hot... more

Very nice hotel not to far from the old town. Service is very friendly and the staff try very hard. The rooms can be a bit hit or miss. Try to get a room on the park side of the hotel and higher up as the noise from the street below can be loud. Very good restaurant next to the... more

My fifth time to Riga and second time to this hotel. Didn't disappoint, got my usual room with the park view, spacious, basic, very clean and spotless toilet, comfortable but firm bedding. Skipped breakfast the full 4 days (woke up too late for it) and went to Double Coffee (opposite the hotel) for good coffee instead. It's not located in... more

We spent 3 nights at the Monika for the New Year celebration. It was an excellent choice. We had a junior suite (€120) with small balcony overlooking the street and the park. Traffic noise was not a problem due double doors and windows. The breakfast was excellent. Monika Hotel is situated in the "Art Nouveau" district and you can walk... more
