I stayed twice in August. The first room on the fourth floor was characterful with lovely beams, clean and reasonably spacious. The second room was in the modern wing was functional but not as interesting. The Breakfast buffet was outstanding, fresh and beautifully presented. I also enjoyed dinner on the terrace. but what impressed me most was the helpful staff,... More

Centrally located, good choice for those who like old-fashioned accomodation. Room was clean and convenient. Good selection at breakfast table. Walking distance to the old town, several shopping centers, opera theater. Definetely would stay there again.

We loved this hotel not only for its location ,but for the history that surrounds it. The hotel staff were kind enough to give us a printed brochure on the Benjamin Family before the Russian occupation. Well worth the read. Hence the name of the lovely restaurant, you could say just verging on 5 star, down to the white glove... More

This historical venue is pushing a five star! Our rooms made us feel like 'royal' visitors. From the front desk to the breakfast room, service was exceptional. Our tour stayed for three nights and everything was like clock-work. For a tourist, the location is within easy walking distance of all your needs; ATM just down the street. Hope you can... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Europa Royale in Riga. We were on the 4th floor, at the top of the building, which made the room a bit warm, but the efficient air-conditioning system solved that problem. We were so tired after a day's walking, nothing would have disturbed our sleep anyway! The breakfast tables were laden... More

What a great hotel this is!!!!! It may seem a little reserved from the approach - particularly when you try to enter the Road Side Door on a rainy day ( its often shut with a paper sign directing you round to the corner entrance) But WOW are you in for a surprise. Inside Its like a vintage wine -... More

Stayed at this hotel few days during a family visit. The hotel is in a great position just out of the old town by a pretty park. Décor is quite dated and simply not to my taste maybe, but the rooms were clean and functional with aircon and wifi. Breakfast was sufficient and served in the restaurant with parquet flooring... We stayed in July and really enjoyed our stay. The public rooms are all furnished to a high standard with original furnishings and paintings. The reception staff were very helpful in providing us with directions and advice. The room size and bathroom were excellent. Our room was in the extension of the hotel and the view was very dissapointing as... More

This massive building was once a palace. It has about six floors with an exceptional winding staircase where you can stand on the top floor and look straight down to the first floor. My room was very large, neat and clean. The tub had a European shower, the sink was large but didn't have much space for toiletries. There was... More
