Don't get a room facing the street, you won't get any sleep because of people screaming on the street, two pubs on the street. No AC in the room which is a minus. No clean sheet every night, stayed three nights. Nice staff, good breakfast, clean room.

We stayed for 2 nights in July. We did not have an advance reservation, but the hotel was able to accommodate our family of 3. All of the staff (at the reception area, bar and restaurant) were pleasant and helpful. The entire hotel is charming and incorporates the old brick walls of the city with fresh luxurious touches. Our room... More

We visited here early July and have to say that we can find positives and minuses with this hotel. Our twin room was sufficient but maybe a little bit on the cramped side, but what troubled us most was that the air conditioning did not work (i.e. cool the room!!) We asked a girl at reception if this could be... More

We spent a lovely long weekend in Riga, staying in this hotel which gave us quick access to everything in town. Very good location to stay for a short trip, close to the river and the old city, where there is the most to see in Riga. The breakfast was great, I strongly recommend having it included. The rooms are... More

This hotel is right in the center of Riga's old town and is within walking distance of all the main sights. The service was friendly, the breakfast was good and the interior has a stylish, modern look. I would happily recommend it.

The main reason for choosing this hotel was for its location right in the heart of Riga Old Town at a reasonable price. Everyone at the reception desk were very friendly and helpful from the time we arrived to when we left. Our room was located in the annexe on the 3rd or 4th floor. Quite a small room with... More

This is a REALLY nice hotel - we sensed this right from the moment of making the booking. They invited us to use their limousine service from the airport right to the hotel door (pay the driver €17). Check-in was straightforward with one of the several friendly receptionists. We were allocated room 408 overlooking the adjoining (empty) building and straight... More

This small hotel didn't feel exactly like a "boutique" property, but it is extremely well located right in Old Town and close to everything. The breakfast room was great - full hot breakfasts and a great way to start the day. We had problems with the A/C in our room, and was told by the staff that although it did... More

Cosy, clean, modern and stylish hotel in excellent location. We stayed at on family trip and used the two-bedroom junior suite which was perfect. The staff is friendly and polite. The restaurant was excellent, we also had dinner in the restaurant. The manu was very fresh, interesting and up to date and the dishes were all beautifully done. Will definitely... More

This was the first of two hotels we stayed in on our first visit to Riga as we wanted to experience both the Old Town and the Art Nouveau district. We loved the Old City Hotel immediately; the combination of modernity with the beautiful exposed brickwork of the old building works so well. We arrived very early from our flight... More
