Ric & Diga they are the best people in Riga. Ok Ric cannot play tennis, but we still love him. We have been there 2 years in a row for a tennis tournament and we always felt like home. Sometimes you get to places where you meet an inviting dog, a friendly cat, a beautifull house, a big bed that makes you rest actually, a friendly face in the morning full of funny comments, pancakes and so much warmth... it just keeps giving you all these good memories. I stayed with my boyfriend in Rick and Digas lovely, big and homey house in may, and we have never been so pleased with our choice of accomodation before. You are always a little wary about going into other people's houses, but this was a genuine pleasure. The house is large and spacious, as was the room. We travelled with out 5 year old daughter who loved playing with the cats and the very friendly dog (who we took for a swim in the local lake!) Ric and Diga... more

We had a lovely stay here with 'Granny' (or so our taxi driver called her!) as Diga and Ric were away. She was very friendly (although we knew no Latvian and she knew little English) and everything ran smoothly. We stayed at Homestay in February of 2008. We enjoyed the accommdations; huge room, warm floors, laundry and internet. The delicious breakfasts were huge, even without pancakes (the third course, or fourth, if you have cereal). Everything was very clean and we had four cats to keep us company.
