Good central hotel. Easy to get to from airport can see hotel as soon as you get off bus bus fares are very cheap in Latvia. Pleasant room but a bit small, good size bathroom everything spotlessly clean. It was a bit noisy from the hostel next door and the building sight but we found the double glazing very good... More

Considering the price the hotel was ok. Location is excellent, breakfast good enough and the free wi-fi in use. We asked the silent room and we got one from the top floor. Only noise came from the room next to us where some young British/Scottish/Irish dudes had their own fun. Room itself was a small one, view to chimney stack... More

Backpacker Hostel at the front is very noisy in the evenings. Construction next door is very noisy Mon-Frid 7.00am-6.00pm. Bar at rear of hotel also generates noise though music does go off at 10.00. Random drunks and fighting in back alley behind hotel goes on till 5.00am. Hotel has just bought fans to deal with heat but open windows (no... More

I stayed for 2 separate nights en route to Southern Estonia for a wedding. Location very good. Hotel a bit dated especially as you enter your room. If you stay overlooking the main street, it is VERY noisy from the Aussie Backpackers bar below. Still going loud and strong at 5am! Was very warm in the room so had to... More

I stayed in this hotel with my girlfriend on Easter. The position is very good, very close both to the bus/train station and to the oldtown. The price was good too, the room was big enough and quite clean. I enjoyed the morning breakfast. These are the pluses. Now the minuses. - We clearly requested a double room but we... More

This is an ideal hotel if arriving by bus or train! Literally a 5 minutes walk from the bus station yet in the nice old town. Clean, excellent service, breakfast buffet just like the expensive places. Old town location and low rates. That's everything I wanted! Sometimes it all works out well.

Right in the old town, opposite airport bus drop off, beside all the shopping malls, 1 min walk to super market, beside coach bus terminal and train station. This is the best location in Riga and i am very sure of that. Very value for money. only bad thing is there is a wierd smell in the room but after... More

The main advantage is location - very close to railway station and city center. But very quite. It doesnt have parking which also supports this idea. Breakfast was good, room was what we expected. The minus was that heating was poor but two additional electric heaters were enough to make us feel ok. In the buthrooom it was still cool... More

We were staying for 1 night. The room was very small with a double bed but very clean. There was a bathtub in the bathroom. The breakfast was great, the restaurant is very small though. The hotel is in the Old Town of Riga, just a few minutes walk to the Central Station & Dome Cathedral. This hotel is perfect... More

Forums is a basic hotel located in the old town (west side). It is very (very) close to the central bus and train station (2 minutes walk to the Nr 22 bus stop to the airport) and the Riga's traditional food old market (zeppelin old parking premises). It is also close to numerous shopping malls and river Daugava. On the... More
