Perfect location, in between the old town and the central market/bus station/train station. The room was a bit run down, but that also added to the charm. Stayed in a standard room, with a view towards the central market. Tram station on the street below, which runs all night long, but I was not really bothered as I am a... More

Wonderfull place situated in medieval part of Riga but not far from railway and bus station and shoping center. Good breakfast, kind staff (english, russian, latvian languages). Nice room, comfortable bed.

The best location for the best price! In the heart of old town, everything is so close! We booked two twin rooms, one was in ground floor and other in first floor, the first floor room was better, becouse you couldn't hear the guests in the hall. It's a best choice for short stay! And receptionists was very friendly and... More

I selected the Forums Hotel for my recent two-day stay in Riga based on location and price. It proved to be a good choice in both areas. Nothing fancy here but a good solid value hotel. Nicely located on the edge of Riga's wonderful Old Town with easy access to cafes, restaurants, shopping and public transportation. Room was of decent... More

We were 6 guys on a weekend break. For us this was the ideal place. Super location, super value, rooms were basic but clean and the staff helpful. There were issues on checkout whereby some other guests tried to charge drinks to our room but staff quickly dealt with it. It suited us given we were 6 lads but I... More

Looking at the other reviews I really cannot understand why some people had a bad time. The staff was very helpfuland kind - sometimes even to my numerous, annoying requests. Internet fast, breakfast worth the deal. Total price - considerably cheap. Quiet and perfectly located. The room had a bath and a mini bar. TV, though, had only 4 channels,... More

The room was tiny, we could hardly move, it was very warm, no a.c. and we could not open the window because there was a very noisy pub just under it with tables on the sidewalk. They asked us to pay in advance at the reception, they claimed that the hotel was full so we couldn't get another room. the... More

Pros: -Close to city center, railway, tram and bus station and market place. Very good location! -Staff @ reception is very friendly, willing to do an extra effort if needed. -Reasonable price category. -Breakfast is ok. -Rooms are clean. Cons: -There seems to be a problem with the plumbing, sometimes causing an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. Solved by pouring... More
