Hotel is in Old Town - nice place to stay while visiting Riga. Rooms are clean. Our room was also quiet, even on Friday night - we stayed in suite. Nice Medieval atmosphere. Breakfast was great and staff helpful.

Great place located in the heart of the old-Riga. Staff was quite welcoming but they didn't if we need any help related Riga sights etc. Rooms are small quite, but very beautify. The offered breakfast was quite standard and basic. Recommended to ask room from the upper floors because the night-club / bar nearby might be quite nosy in the... More

Location was really really good! Room was good size and clean, but you could hear all the noise from outside and corridors and it was really bad at night. Beds and pillows were good but the outside noise was bad. Breakfast was ok, the breakfast room was beautiful! Hotel staff was quite unpolite, never smiled or said anything (reception and... More

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. When we first arrived we discovered that Expedia had messed up our booking and had booked the hotel from the day after our flight arrived into Riga. However the hotel staff were very good and understanding and luckily were able to provide us with a room. We were in room 17 which... More

After some efforts we managed to locate the entrance. The atmosphere is somewhat cold. You donot get that warm welcome response which you expect after check in. Infact, I always hesitated in talking to the receptionists[ except for one lady who was pleasant and helpful.} The lift had a horrid and nauseating odour. On reporting it, different receptionists had different... More

Traveled solo for a three day business trip. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Pleanty of blankets, towels, toiletries, stationery. Wifi and lots of outlets. Safe in my room for the valuables. Mini fridge, stocked every day with soft drinks, several kinds of mineral water and various juices. Very quiet, though right in the Old Riga. We have stayed in... More

Riga has lots of well priced hotels in the centre so standards should be high. This place was very good, especially like the firm mattress. Only one complaint which is the lack of vegetarian food choices at breakfast.

Just returned from a three night stay here with a friend on a city break. Fantastic location in Old City. Just round the corner from all the main bars and restaurants. Hotel is basic but everything you need for a weekend and very clean. Wifi is great. Breakfast is ok, there's not an abundance of choice but enough to get... More

I don't have anything bad to say about the hotel. The location was good, the room was nice and clean, the breakfast was tasty and the staff was friendly. We got a room from the garden side so there was no noise (there are a few bars opposite the hotel so it might get noisy).

One thing to specify: this hotel defines itself as a boutique hotel.... actually it is not: the interiors are very standard and closer to the ones of a midrange hotel than of a 4 star hotel. Having said that and provided that you do not expect anything special the hotel really ticks all the boxes: central.... clean.... nice staff... good... More
