I originally booked this hotel for 5 nights but ended up spending 2 of them at a hospital in Riga. the hotel staff were absolutely helpful and willing to assist in my little health problem, and they offered a discount on the rate - although I have occupied the room with my baggage and everything. They also helped me write... More

We were in Riga for two nights, so didn't have too much time to see things beyond the beautiful Old Town. This is 20-25 mins walk from the Old Town precinct. However, you can take a short tram ride down the street if you're too tired at either end of your site-seeing. That way you can meet more locals :).... More

Nice enough hotel with comfy bed but needs soundproofing. We stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night and it was like staying in a youth hostel. Through my ear plugs I could every door banging and conversation in the other rooms. Wifi not good in our room either.

Situated in an office building, a bit of a walk from the Old City, I found it clean and comfortable with good breakfast and lunch. Staff were helpful and a computer was available for guests' use. Not elegant but certainly a solid 3-star.

About a twenty minute walk or ten minute trolley bus ride from the centre of Riga city. The property is situated next to a very busy and noisy road which if you like the windows open can be disturbing. We were on the third floor with a double bed room an desperate sitting area. Whilst not brand new all of... More

This hotel is a little wide of the action, but it does make up for it with spacious airy rooms and neutral decor. One thing they could fix is the entrance, which is hard if you are doing a bag drag, as there are quite a few steep steps. The hotel itself does not ooze any Olde Worlde charm, it's... More

Hotel TIA is located a little ways outside of the centre of Riga but going there is as easy as taking a minibus that stops a few feet from the hotel for 1 euro. You could opt for walking there, in the Spring and Summertime Riga has gorgeous weather and the architecture alone is worth the walk. At times it... More

Good value room, breakfast was very nice, and staff friendly and helpful. When going for breakfast no one from the staff greets you which is a bit weird, since normally it is at least - good morning, but alright, breakfast was good. Not far from the city centre, but still some walk.

I didn't really like this hotel though it was good value. Its on a busy main road and looks more like an office block. Its not too far from the centre and I often walked rather than take a tram. The breakfasts were unexceptional and the rooms barely adequate but clean and comfortable enough I suppose. My big complaint was... More
