Great hotel, centrally positioned in the old town, with easy access to restaurants, bars and shopping facilities. Our room, a twin, was a good size, if a little spartan in appearance. A couple of pictures would have brightened the place. We didn't specify a double at reception (having said on Easytobook's website that we would prefer a double) but got... More

Writing this after my second stay at Konventa Seta, my first visit being 3 years previous. A lovely quiet hotel right in the heart of old town Riga. The staff are exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The rooms (I have stayed in building 2 both times) are fairly basic but feature very comfortable (single in my case) beds, en suite... More

I stayed here while on business for a week in Riga, and despite my initial reservations found the hotel to be clean and comfortable with a cosy bar and restaurant. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the old city and there is a plethora of fantastic bars and restaurants within an easy walk. I was lucky enough to be... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in February/March 2014. The hotel was very easy to get to from the airport using the cheap public bus and in an exceptional location for exploring Old Riga, as well as only a short walk from Central Riga. The room was clean and functional, although a little small. The staff were... More

This hotel is near the opera house, and right in the old city. While the rooms are not fancy, they are warm and there's plenty of hot water (this was great since it was really cold!). And, they are very clean. The breakfast buffet is hearty and served in an attractive restaurant in the art nouveau style. The front desk... More

The location is very convenient to explore the city. The rooms were very plain and there could have been better curtains, as the nights are short in the summer. There was not too much choice for breakfast, with too many persons queuing around the food trays, and there was always something missing, may they be cups, butter or bread.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights during a trip to Riga with friends. The single room was really spacious and had everything I needed. The breakfast in the adjoining restaurant was more than sufficient and all the staff were very helpful. If you want good value for money in a location that is perfect for exploring Riga then... More

A winter retreat at the end of a very busy business day was worth the stay. English speaking and roomy accommodations. Very clean modest suite includes well-lit and spacious area for working desk, coach, TV, and cabinet storage. Comfortable beds in a separate room. Bath area has its own heating system. The main building of this converted 18th century convent... More

The main positive side for us was the location. You are quite simply on a good position in the old town, surrounded by some of the old towns highlights, with a shopping centre 50 metres down the road, and a five minute walk to the central market (Centraltirgus) or the monument for fredom (Brivibas piemineklis). We travelled a large group,... More
